Fran Tarkenton was on Atlanta radio this morning saying that Arod is hurt and that he won't be effective next week. He focused on the shoulder injury occuring on the first TD run where he supposedly winced after scoring (i never saw that). He cited the ineffectiveness for the rest of the game as his primary proof. he went on to say he has had the same exact injury and it takes a long time to recover - no way he is close to 100% next week.

My rebutal is that rodgers led them on another TD drive right after that and any ineffectivness was more apparent after the Peppers hit than from the hit on the TD run.

I don't doubt that Rodgers felt the hit the next day, but two weeks is hopefully enough time to recover and Fran is full of it. First of all, each injury is slightly different and for him to determine the exact severity of the injury is ridicoulous.  Again, he probably hates GB, and he really likes to hear himself talk (he opines on anything Farve or remotely conected to him).

I still think GB has the better team and they will show it on Sunday, but this got me thinking a little.
