Nick Barnett over Paul Posluszny, Nix, you get an A++
Nick Barnett is doing great! I know I was a little upset about the Bills decision to not persue Paul Posluszny during Free Agency. When they replaced him with Nick Barnett I was a little sketchy about the idea of putting someone who I barely know in place of a Fan Favorite (Poz). I'm also sure I wasn't alone with this assessment, am I right? Anyway, after the JUMP, you will see #50 and #51's stats at the halfway point this season.
Has Buddy Nix lost his mind?????
Wow!! Has Buddy Nix just lost his mind? I just got over the Poz loss, dealing with it by accepting that he was overpaid and that we found a better replacement in Nick Barnett.
Now Evans? Geez, as a long time Bills fan, I just lost it when I seen the headline:
Ravens pick up Lee Evans from Bills
I understand, Evans was due big money compared to his production last year, but c'mon...
I hope that Nix/Gailey aren't putting all of their eggs into still unproven Stevie Johnson. Without Evans drawing double team coverage, sometimes triple, Johnson would not even have left a mark last year. This was the year that we could of seen coverage come off of Lee a little, this was his year to make his mark, guess not. I hope Mr Buddy Nix has a plan. I know this was just one player but, I think he just set us back.... AGAIN.

Congratulations to Fred Jackson

Jackson’s number 22 will hang in the Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio for the 2010 season. When I read this on Buffalobills.com I was proud. I was there during the colts game last year when he surpassed the 1000 yard mark and slapped the record into the books. Finally something good has happened nationally to our team. What better player to have this happen to than Freddy Jackson, who's story is already something to be proud of. The only thing thats going to be a question mark is weather or not he will ever regain his starting position back. When he is fully recovered from his injury can he unseat CJ Spiller? Or does Chan Gailey already have his mind made up? Well whatever happens in the near future here in Buffalo, we know that 2009 was certainly a great year for Fred Jackson.
Let's welcome CJ to Buffalo!
It's here! Finally, NFL Sunday is here. It seemed as if it would never come. With the onset of the new season, comes the first time the Bills Rookie's will step onto the field at Ralph Wilson Stadium knowing this time it counts. This is what was reported that CJ said about his first NFL regular season game at The Ralph. " I’m just waiting to see how the crowd responds. I’ve heard so much about it since being drafted, I’m just anxious to go out on the field and compete again.” Sounds like to me that the guy is ready to play. That excites me. Because in the past there has been a few Rookies (ex. McGahee) that really didn't want to be here. CJ seems like he wants to play in Buffalo. Hopefully I'm not jumping the gun but, I think we finally have our next Thurman Thomas. I want to know what the fans think about Spiller. Do you think we have the next T, Thomas, or better? Either way, for those fans attending the Dolphins/Bills game, lets give him a huge Buffalo Bills welcome!

Sick to my stomach. From excitement or the fear of defeat?
I am not sure if I am sick to my stomach because of excitement that the season is here, or my fear of losing the game to the Dolphins?? Either way, It's only Thursday and I am already feeling this way. Anyone out there in Bills country have this feeling? Anyone know which it is? I do Bill-ieve, I do. Its just that we have been down the same road before... The team gets me all riled up and believing that we are actually something (despite how the media portrays us) this year and then, BAM!! Before you know it we are 3-7 and already looking toward next year. I hate that feeling, oh boy do I ever. But in the end I will always be a Bills fan, I guess I am just used to it all. Anyone out there with me on that feeling? Go Bills!!
Question?? About Chan Gailey/Buddy Nix
First off, I just want to let everybody know that I do approve of how Coach Chan Gailey has handled his job so far. I also approve of the way our GM Buddy Nix has handled his end of the team. What I am curious about is what the fans of Buffalo would grade the two of them, you know, A, B, C, D, F. The poll that is posted on this site only gives fans the chance to answer weather or not they approve of their job, not what grade they think Gailey and Nix would receive. So, Bills Fans... Please let me know what you think. I appreciate it. Go Bills!!
