If college basketball used the BCS (Rush the Court)
This seems, um, all too familiar. Check the Sugar Bowl.
Yooooo....@BIGboehmTHEORY has some great news #MIZZOU #TIGERS
The Phinsider at Arrowhead
How's everyone doing? Dolphins fans born and raised in Chicago and currently studying at Mizzou are, I'm assuming, rare. But you're reading one right now, so nice to meet you. Anyway, a buddy and I are trekking over to Kansas City from Columbia this Sunday to watch us get thrashed embarrassed killed put forth a valiant effort against the red-hot Chiefs. Anyone else planning on attending on Sunday? Looking forward to having myself some company in the Sea of Red. GO DOLPHINS!

We got some late breaking news, ladies and gentlemen
And the hits just keep on comin'.
My reality is brighter than your dreams are.
Um...whose logo is that purple and yellow bird in the upper right?
Keith Moreland the broadcaster
I'm very curious as to everyone's opinion on Moreland's work thus far as the full time color man on WGN Radio. As a out of state college student, I don't get the Cubs on television often but the AtBat app on my phone has let me listen to Pat and Keith every day (I almost enjoy listening to Pat's play by play more than watching on TV anyway. The Cubs make me sick watching them and Pat, especially with Ron, is so good). I haven't been able to find any reviews of Keith on the web so I thought I'd try here.
Rockathon 2011 - UPDATE: THANK YOU FOR MAKING 2011 A YEAR TO REMEMBER!
AEPi's biannual Rock-a-Thon is back for 2011! For students and those of you who live in Columbia, Rockathon is the largest single chapter philanthropy in the country, and we could use all of the help we could get. Our rocker this year, Columbia Missourian sportswriter Lenny Goldman, is on the stage at 9th and Broadway from now until late Saturday night, with the rest of us dispersed all over Columbia and the rest of the state looking for donations to the American Cancer Society. In 2009 we exceeded our goal of $50,000 and we're looking to match it again this time around. Please visit our website, with all sorts of additional information, at www.rockathonaepi.com, or if you're in Columbia, stop by the stage at 9th and Broadway this weekend and check us out. We really appreciate any support we could get.
Thanks RMN!
*UPDATE*: Rock-a-thon 2011 came to a close tonight. In 2009, we set a rock-a-thon record with $52,000 raised. This year? $80,387. Thank you folks so very much for participating and helping us not just beat but SHATTER our previous record. Couldn't have done it without incredible Mid-Missouri support. Thanks again so much, and #beatcancer!

Come on, everyone pick a side...
First off I want to say how proud I am of that team for busting their balls and giving us a reason to have faith and a reason to enjoy our season for just one more game...then another...then another...and then to force overtime? Come on, that may have been the goal of the year. From his stomach, shorthanded, down one with two to play in game seven? I'll take that over any other. And Camps, pick your head up. Was that a bonehead play? Yeah, but I didn't hate you the past few months. Just don't do it again.
Anyway...the point of this fanpost is a simple one: please vote. I feel that this may be a very polarizing and close to 50-50 poll...or I could be completely wrong. We'll see.

Dolphins uniforms
This is not a report of breaking news, nor is it speculation. This is merely an expression of an idea I've had and hopefully, a healthy discussion on what other Dolphins fans think:
I think the Dolphins should go back to pre-1997 uniforms and colors.
I think I would even be okay with the new logo in the old colors (and if someone could photoshop what this would look like that'd be awesome). But the new colors depress me after I see old clips in the previous uniforms, which I do quite often. They have no success historically connected with them. When I see the old ones, I think of 72, I think of Shula, I think of Marino, I think of greatness. I know he's not the creator, but the new colors remind me of Ross, orange carpets, and motives that aren't called winning.
So what do you all think? Like I said, I don't have any underground info of any means, just my idea. Please discuss and if you are particularly skilled with photoshop, feel free to share. I'd love to see it.
The Most Embarrassing 60 Seconds of Doug Gottlieb's TV Career
Is this something I could interest you in?
Coyotes?
Really sorry for wasting a fanpost here...at least this could potentially turn into a decent thread, right?
Can anyone explain to me, in layman's terms, the recent developments in this situation? I know there's been news for months, and apparently there's new, big news yesterday but I don't understand what's being said. Anyone?

"Arkansas is coming open"
Audio clip to Gottlieb
Here we go... Doug @GottliebShow says the Arkansas job is coming open and they're coming after #Mizzou's Mike Anderson.
Mizzou: National Title 2012? (ESPNInsider)
I can't read it...anyone wanna inform us?
Problems with the Garden...?
Um...so tonight's Magic at Knicks game has been postponed ("link":http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/nba/news/story?id=5756699) due to asbestos found in the cleaning of the ceiling of the Garden? They said that the Garden is being shut down and will not reopen until they are sure it's safe.Seeing as we were skating around in there a little over twelve hours ago...should the Hawks be concerned with any short (or long) term health issues?
trivia question!
***note: i don't know the answer...i'm looking for it, i hope one you knows. this is not a contest, merely a shameless promotion for someone to answer a question for me
"WHO ARE THE PATS?!"

Kimmeh's twitter
Is anyone else concerned with Kim's excitement for the 2011 draft? Am I the last person to realize he's planning on leaving early? Judging on these tweets, he's already there...
Mitchell to team USA
So...um...what ever happened? Does this mean he's coming? Did I miss the story that said completely forget for a few weeks about him not graduating?
are there any hockey fans here? i need your help
i am a diehard hawks fan. im going to be in columbia june 9-11...which happen to coincide with games six and seven. should the games be necessary and played, i was wondering if anybody recommends a certain bar, or restaurant, or area in which i wouldnt be laughed at when i ask if they'll turn on blackhawks game. i have a gut feeling watching in my hotel room with my family might just be the best option, but if there was a hockey place i could enjoy myself, id rather go there. so anyone know anything? appreciated.
"Major announcement"
"Cal sports info says the school "will make a major announcement regarding the 2011 football season" Monday morning." - Bruce Feldman's Twitter. Involving the University of Colorado, perhaps?
