Chris Snelling is available...again

Philadelphia Phillies: Optioned OF Chris Snelling to Triple-A Lehigh Valley, and designated him for assignment.

So I guess he will be available or could be available in the next 10 days or so.

No pun intended.  Jesse Foppert was moved to AAA Tacoma today (Sunday) by the M's.  It hasn't come out anywhere that I have seen yet, well, wait, here is confirmation:

After yesterday, who would have doubted that this would have happened.  He didn't have his A or B game yesterday, at all.

Felix "The King" Hernandez pitched the first inning of today Charity Game versus the San Diego Padres.  He "wowed" the crowd, as well as the Padres, by striking out the side on only 13 pitches.  That was the only inning he pitched, by the way.

I don't have all the other details, on the game, only knowing that the final score was a 2-2 tie after going 10 innings.

For those with interest, Texas signed Durazo to a minor league deal, with an invite to ST.  Some people had mentioned his name in the off-season, in other forums/diaries, so I thought I would mention it.

Can't be that bad to just give him a shot, to at least see what he can still do, especially after surgery.
