Well I guess it is that time again. My annual, "Is this year's 2-1 different from last years 2-1", post. So with that being said I will continue my streak and say with a resounding, YES! Finally there is a difference. We are a team that has more than potential we have purpose. We will not have 5 or 6 game losing streaks. We will not watch each game be given away by JT O'Fumble ot Alex "next year I'll be better" Smith. We have only one interception, one! Each game we have potential to not just win but to dominate. We get to watch a coach who coaches. And as god as my witness, we get to see a pass rush!!!!!! Holy mother of pearl! Yes this year's 2-1 is different from last years and the years before. Why? We got winners. We got players who want to win! We are hitting people in the mouth! All is not perfect but it is better!

2-2 Now Same As 2-2 Then?

Last year we went 2-2 this year we are 2-2. Last year there was an obvious iceberg in our path. This year we are in rough waters but we have lifeboats that have motors, blankets and wet bar! For pete's sake, we have the talent we have the coaching. This league has completely changed in 4 games and will again change completely in another 4 and that still only the half way point.

This loss reminds me of the Cardinals loss. Simple, are glorious team can not afford turn overs and penaltys. Everyone wants to talk about how bad this was or who didn't do there job... blah blah blah. We are good team with a lot of talent, but we will only and can only win games that we are mentally focused on not turning over the ball and not giving up 1st down after 1st down to penaltys. Very Simple!

J.T. is our man, Gore is God, Win with Willis, and if it don't fit it's Nate Clemment.

Go Niners!

How Long.....?

How long has it been since the 49ers came back and won, how long has it been since our QB threw for over 300? How long has it been since we had realistic hope? Too long!!! I know sitting or should I say standing and watching the game on Sunday that even though we had a bizarre start and went down 14, I still had realistic hope that there are forces within this great team that are will not go silently into the night! Those forces are forces who see the same thing I see. I see leaders not followers. I see a QB that doesn't have exuses he has solutions. I see one of the leagues best running back getting to line up wide right and still getting a touchdown and 70 yards on the ground. I see future hall of famer wide reciever playing like a superbowl champion. I see a defense that has so many weapons that we havn't figured out how to use them yet. I see the five time super bowl champion San Francisco 49ers playing to win.

J.T. O'Sullivan.... Hmmm. Could that be the name that finally brings back the force that once was the San Francisco 49ers offense? Well I know one thing he can't make it worse. Don't get me wrong I like Alex and Shaun, shit I like alot of players that havn't made our team better. Does that mean I want to watch them week in and week out humuliating this of one of a kind franchise? Nope! Bring on the season and bring out O'Sullivan.
