Walter Jones done for year
From Bill Swartz's blog:
"In his radio show on Friday morning Seahawks' head coach Mike Holmgren had more bad news on the injury front.
Holmgren said that Pro Bowl left tackle Walter Jones will miss the final 3 games of the season after undergoing knee surgery on Thursday. Jones is the 13th Seahawk player on the team's injured reserve list.
Matt Hasselbeck is making progress with his latest back problems, but will also miss Sunday's Rams game. Also sitting out, linebacker Leroy Hill who's recovering from a neck stinger.
At practice on Thursday Hasselbeck came out briefly to stretch with teammates before leaving for more work on the bulging disk in his back. Backup Seneca Wallace again ran the offense.
Hasselbeck has missed six games this season, including last week's loss to New England.
It is possible he won't play again this season. Doctors have told the three-time Pro Bowl passer that if nothing else happens to his back he will not need surgery and should be fine by mid-February."
Someone was listening to John.

Shaun visits with Bengals
From the story "Alexander to visit ":
Alexander, who turns 31 after the last preseason game, isn't the same back that led the Seahawks to the Super Bowl a few years ago and any deal would be contingent on a physical. He broke his wrist in last season's opener and after he twisted his knee and ankle in Week 9 he finished with 716 yards rushing on 3.5 per carry. He became the eighth player in history to rush for 100 career touchdowns in the season finale.
His strengths are that he's a solid guy, adds another dimension in the passing game with terrific hands, has had tremendous production in the past, and his wrist is apparently healed.
