There they are. Glasnow, Hague, and Mercer were the only ones who didn't appear on BA's top 30. They had Victor Black, Brandon Cumpton, and Evan Chambers instead. Of the players that both lists included, the standard deviation was pretty small. If you ignore Glasnow, Hague, and Mercer, the SD was just 2.6 between our list and BA's. Bryan Morris was the only guy with a >10 spot gap between lists (though Mercer, who was 17 for us and not on BA's list, and Black, who was 19 for BA and not even in consideration when our poll closed, probably should count as well).
21 of the players on our list were drafted; five were international free agents; and four came in trades. Ten are RHP; five LHP. Two catchers, four 1B, four MI, and five outfielders. Zero 3B, unless you want to count Navarro there instead of as a middle infielder.
I thought this project started a lot of great discussions, and even though the list is done, hopefully we can keep the discussions going here.

This is going to be the last time I post the poll. If someone else wants to take up the mantle and keep it going, please do so. If not, I'll post some sort of wrap-up in the next couple days, which we can use to discuss the system in general and everyone who didn't make the list.

I'll add Irwin, Harold Ramirez, and Dilson Herrera to the poll. There were some other suggestions, but I didn't get the sense that anyone felt too strongly about any individual guy. On a related note, there were only 24 votes total in the last poll, which kind of suggests to me that we should end this thing at #30. We're still having some good discussion from time to time, but maybe we can continue that in a wrap-up thread without actually continuing the polling. I'll leave this poll up over the weekend, so everyone can weigh in on whether we should keep going or not.

Community Prospect #21
Alen Hanson received 28% of the vote to sneak into the top 20. Justin Wilson finished with 25%, just one vote behind. (As discussed a couple threads back, I'm only planning on doing run-offs if the vote is actually tied. People seemed cool with that when we talked about it, so I hope it's all right with everyone.) Here's our list:
1. Gerrit Cole
2. Jameson Taillon

4. Josh Bell
5. Luis Heredia
6. Robbie Grossman

I'm removing Brock Holt from the poll after he failed to get a vote in the last one. If you want to vote for someone not listed, add his name under "others" and reply with a +1.
For the record, I'm planning on doing this as long as people stay interested, but probably not beyond 50. This poll will run for 24 hours.

Bucs Dugout Community Prospect #3
Prospect #2 was Taillon in a runaway (near-unanimous vote), so I closed that poll after a few people suggested we should move on. We probably won't see another vote that one-sided, but if anything similar happens in the future and I don't seem to be around, anyone else can go ahead and start the next poll.
