Bud Adams and Jeff Fisher are sure to sit down on Monday to discuss "the situation," and a choice will be made. Adams has been quoted as saying that both are under contract and will be back next year, but the reality is that this team cannot function with both.

Earlier in the season Fisher finally drew the line the sand, stating publicly that Vince Young would never be the starter in Tennessee again. This is after Bud Adams had stepped in on a couple occasions in recent years and told the head coach to start Young.

On Monday I believe Jeff Fisher will tell Bud Adams that he is resigning. And I don't blame him.

The Titans playoff hopes are officially crushed and now it's time to finish one last game and fade in to the offseason. Coming off a 13-3 season last year, I'm sure a lot of us in the MCM community had high hopes for this year. Obviously a possible 8-8 finish will fall short of everyone's expectations.

While I'm sure no one's actually happy with the overall body of work for this year, I'd rather look at the positive side of things.
