Local NBC affiliate owns up to its mistake and apologizes for 'disrespectful' technician

NBC's local affiliate in LA has come out on the record in order to apologize publicly for the highly inappropriate Nick Pasquale incident. In a world where trolls often try to elicit over-reactions from coaches, it is comforting to see that this may not have been the intent this time around. That NBC owns up to its mistake and publicly apologies should be a given, but it is still refreshing to see the unequivocal nature of their apology. Writing about the incident, NBC confirmed "It disrupted the coach. Understandably, Mora abruptly ended the news conference saying our technician was being disrespectful. There is no excuse for this incident. We deeply regret it and want to apologize to the Pasquale family, Mora and all of UCLA. We are sorry." Hopefully this whole affair will be soon forgotten and we can go back to mourning the loss of a great human being and a great Bruin. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Pasquale family and his friends.
