The Detroit News is reporting that Michael Curry has been fired after one season.

Pending his waiving no-trade clause.

That kinda sucks.

He's going to start on Saturday for Class A West Michigan.

Stay away from the 5/3 burger, Bondo.

Rick Porcello and Ryan Perry, both right-handers, have made the Tigers' Opening Day roster.

Righthanded reliever Juan Cruz signed a two-year, $6 million deal with the Royals, the club announced. There's also a team option in Year 3 for $4.5 million, with a $500,000 buyout.

Dombrowski says Rick Porcello will be in the mix for the 5th starting spot in the rotation.
