Liberty Ballers Reason Lebron is coming to Philly

I know he is not as we do not have the cap space but I have a reason for the post title.  Only 2 times have an NBA MVP gone to another team the year after winning the MVP.  Wilt left the Sixers for LA.  Malone came to Philly.  Do you see the relationship?  The 76ers!!  We have been involved in both, so it must mean we will be involved with James this year, right?  I know we will not be, unless part of a three team sign-and-trade (where we do not get Lebron but are the other pieces to make it work), but it is interesting to think about.

According to rotowolrd.com

"According to the Toronto Sun's Bob Elliott, someone involved in Monday's three-team blockbuster failed their physical.
We don't have enough information to speculate on how this might impact the trade. It's not even clear which player might have had an issue. Stay tuned." (Rotoworld 2009)

Liberty Ballers Brand out of starting line up

Check out what was reported on Philly.com on the deep sixer blog today

http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/deep-sixer/Brand_out_of_starting_lineup_.html

Looks like Jordan will be making some large changes without MS being availble until Jan.   Also no EB in starting lineup.  Could mean Jason Smith @ PF or Thad Young @ PF, Andre @ SF, and Bill Green @ SG.

What do you all think?  Who should be starting?  Should he get more time (4th qtr anyone)?

Liberty Ballers Sammy D still around but what about Jackson?

http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/homepage/Sams_Still_Here.html

Talks of Sammy D but also the sixers lack of interest in Stephen Jackson.  What would you think of bringing in Stephen Jackson?  I mean he plays the 2/3 so if Thad struggles continues to struggle could sort of fit that role plus can shoot the 3 pointer.  I don't think he is someone I would want to bring in but since Phil Jasner brought it up, I thought I'd ask you guys

Liberty Ballers Anthony Parker???

He is a free agent this summer.  He can shoot the three (averages up around 40% over the last 3 yrs) and plays the 2.  I also like his size at the SG position as I think we need some more length to help on D.  He could be picked up for not too much money (I wouldn't think).  It would fill some holes and needs.
