This is GSW chance to get a coach that really gets defense to turn things around here.

Golden State Of Mind Sign Jerome Randle as our backup PG.

With a couple of spots left unfilled on Warriors roster, it looks like there are 2 biggest voids: backup center and backup PG. Aside from Lin, there is another great Bay Area PG candidate whom we should consider signing: Jerome Randle.

Golden State Of Mind Thank you Nellie!!!

OK Guys, this is a direct letter going out to Nellie!

Mr. Nelson. Today Warriors had this starting lineup and following backup:

Ellis (PG i can only assume here),

Crawford(SG he is a bit bigger),

Turiaf(center in his heart),

Randolph(PF),

Azubuike(SF)

with following backup:

Morrow(SG/ potential SF),

Kurz(SF/PF),

CJ Watson( scoring PG )

This squad has the best upside of any Warrior team in the past 15 years. Monta and Crawford realistically can dramatically improve their defense together this off-season, and so can Watson. Both Watson and Monta will gain more confidence, and could be dominant 1-2 punch in our offence. Crawford can play the "playmaker" SG, as as long as he provides on defensive end. Of course we hear about Nellie trying to oust Crawford, but he may stay, if he shows real effort and production on defensive end over the last 8 games.

Randolph can be one of the most dominant players in this league, once he learns to control his athleticism. Azubuike is more athletic than Joe Johnson, but with less handles. Still could be All-Star, especially in Nellie system.

Morrow is definitely trying to add "dribble penetration" to his game, and I think he is getting more and more successful at it. Whether he can really do it is still debatable, but he does not need much because of how fast his release is. He can be 15 point per game threat for a long time.

CJ can score in bunches as well. Nellie's decision to play Kurz so much, especially with Randolph in the lineup had come under fire on this blog. But, his and Rudolph's career this is probably the most Kurz will play ever, so this should give him extra confidense to play down the line. All Nellie says s that Kurz can shoot, and he has seen Morrow, so must have seen flashes of something special.

Overall Warrios look impressive, with decline of other teams in the West their chances for playoffs next year look great. Let's not talk about trades, but with this draft Warrios should add 1 strong power forward( David West type ) and 2 guards: 1 very quick (hopefully aaron brooks) and 1 very good defender who can pass( andre miller, billups or someone with similar style ).

Once again, thank you Nellie! This team is awesome, we all having a blast watching them run fast-break!
