welcome back to d.stern's nba,i'ved been saying all along that the nba is too shady vs small market or teams the nba media really do not like.people have been getting on me for years about what i said about the nba.when your head coach goes public about the officiating,then you know it's a serious problem.coach nate is a very cool customer so you know something is seriously wrong when he speaks out.bottom line good people,this is the way it's going to be for this franchise.as long as d.stern's media shills sees the blazers as a threat.the more the refs and media keeps dismissing them.everyone thought that when the blazers won the lottery 2 years ago,they would be an attraction.instead the outcries nationally was unreal.especially on the e.coast.to sum up what i'm saying is that teams like the blazers are the nba's worst nightmare.why you ask because they love that superstar monopoly of lebron kobe wade even d.rose now.melo yao if n.robinson knicks made the playoffs he'll be right up there that's why the nba is a damn joke.when n.robinson jersey is selling more than b.roy something is seriously wrong with that picture.so blazers fans unfortunately get used to bad officals as long as the nba sees the blazers as a threat.

on saturday night i was in philly rewarding my nephew for getting great grades in school.so i took him to a tna wrestling show.while i was in philly i saw game 1 on espn.and let me tell you guys something,espn did you great people of pdx at the r.garden no justice on saturday night.that said i saw the game on the blazers feed last night on nba.tv.and damn was the r.garden crowd electric.i have'nt seen a pdx crowd that electric since game 3 of the 1990 nba finals vs detroit.when i was growing up the 1 thing i respected about pdx was the crowd.they would line up in the rain to wacth blazers games on closed circuit tv.to you young people that would be ppv in a movie house today.you guys showed america why you guys are the best and most knowledgeable fans in all of professional sports period.there was a electricity that i really love in true sports cities.and pdx is seriously has always been 1 of those cities.all of you people in attendance deserve a standing ovation.the heat you guys gave to j.crawford and the inept officiating crew was priceless.and no matter what happens from here on out,you great people are the main reason why i love this franchise.and most importantly i truely love oyu and your fine city.it's always been my favorite city in america to visit,and i love all the fine people and culture pdx always have to ofeer.so this alute is to you the fans as saying"god bless you"and continue your great support of the greatest team and fams of all of pro sports the portland trailblazers book it !!!!!!!

i remember the day like it happened 10 minutes ago.it was a glorious tuesday morning on september 11,2001.i just got off work and was going to collect a debt.and when i walked out off the club 2 roosters said why would anyone fly a plane into the world trade center.my mind started churning and i said to myself don't i know somebody close to me who worked at the towers.as i was counting my cash,another person said the 2.nd tower was hit.then it occured to me,my father worked at the towers.the thought of my father being down there made me go into a frenzy.i ran 1.5 miles to my mother's house.and you can see the manhattan skyline from the freeway,not that morning.the firehouse 2 blocks from my mom's house had every fire engine race down to the fiancial district where the towers once stood tall&mighty.the local and cable t.v.feeds were knocked out.so thank-god i had direct t.v. at my mom's.what i saw next was a horror scene from a disaster movie.to see live when the 2.nd plane flew smack into tower 1,i sat and wacthed in a daze.when i saw the people and "god blees their souls in heaven"leap 106 floors to their deaths.i said to myself who's behind this senseless act of terror.nyc to this day not only has not recovered,but lost it's beautiful skyline forever.as i'm writing this post,every year i wacth the memorial service at ground "0". as for my father thank-god he was safe.but for the last 3 years of his life he never recovered physcologically.see that morning he was with his co*workers at morgan stanley dean whitter talking with his co workers for over 15 years.he went downstairs to pay some utilities bills and have a cup of joe.he looked up and saw the 1.st plane hit tower #2.he said something told him don't go back in the building.unfortunately for him,he never saw his co workers again.my father did'nt even know that both towers went down.he sat in my mom's living room and broke down crying.just imagine 1 minute you're having a few laughs with his friends.and then 3 hrs later they're gone forever.as i write this my mom and i believe the cancer that took his life 3 years ago was from the abestos caused by the tragedy.my dad got 1 of the highest honors being awarded a plaque*medal for his bravery.helpimg the people escape the terror of that somber day.so today no matter what you think about n.y.c. the people the city in itself. just say a prayer for the people who when they woke up that beautiful 83 degree morning getting ready to go to work.they never knew what hit them. my love and prayers go those people who lost loved ones.husbands who lost wives,wives who lost husbands.children who lost a mother or a father or even more tragically both.boyfriends and girlfriends who relationships tragically ended. even children losing grandparents.but you know who gets my biggest tributes,the n.y.c.f.d. the bravest men*women alive.our firemen*firewomen risked their lives on that tragic day.and to their loved ones all of us will always love and admire their bravery.to the n.y.c.p.d. the finest police department on earth.as much as people hate them in nyc.they'll always have a special place in my heart.the bravery they shoed that day.we'll always keep their families and loved one's in our hearts.to the rescue workers and triage workers. the hospital my brother was being treated for his kidney*heart disease had pictures of some of the people who tragically lost there lives.it really made me put my life in perspective.also to the saddest lost of all.the airlines attendants who lost their lives instantly.the pilots and passengers.who that morning had no clue that their lives would end so tragically.just thinking about it makes me cringe.to the people who lost their lives at the pentagon,may they families be thought of with sympathy and prayers.but my greatest tribute is to the passengers on flight 93.to the brave women*men who made sure that flight 93 did'nt reach the white house.it was bad enough that they took out the towers,and hit the pentagon but imagined if it hit the oval office.the families of the passengers of flight 93.our prayers and thanks as an american will always be there forever.thank-god we live in a great society like america.remember we don't go to other countries.other countries always run to the good'ole us of a for help.and what do america get for it.everyone else's criminals and overcrowding the nation.always remember people"god bless america"

who will be the head coach when tha blazers finally gt the gold trophy.in my honest opinion it will not be n.mc.millan.why because if the blazers hold true to form.it will take g.oden, aldridge,roy a good 7-10 years to win their 1.st title together.it's just the law of nba averages when it comes to big men.this team will win a title in a 7-10 year time frame.before s.elliott hit that 3 on memorial day 99.the admirial*duncan was known as soft.4 rings later for duncan and 2 for robinson later america still don't acknowledge the spurs as great.so if it does take 7-10 years for the blazers 1.st title. who will be there coach when they finally win their championship.

next monday 8/27/07 is when the main guys will get together for their version of training camp. what's so refreashing about this is that for the last 10 years,this would'nt have happened with the clowns*thugs of teams past.it's amazing how 2 men in 2 short years,can change the culture for 1 franchise.to have oden,roy,aldridge,blake, webster,outlaw,frye,jones,pryzbilla,green,and mc.roberts all showing up.now is that wonderful or what.and the most beautiful part about it is the players decided to this on their own as a team.if i'm coach*g.m. and most importantly the fans,i'm very giddy right now.it tells me how committed*professionally*mature these young kids are as people.do you believe guys like sheed,bonzi,reuben,rider,trent,darius,woods would be doing this.i seriously doubt it.i heard mo cheeks never attended a blazers golf outing.it kind of tell you people who stayed during the dark years.how far we fell from the s.elliot 3, the meltdown at staples,and the draft day blunders of the past.my hats off to the 11 young men who get's it.to a coach who we'll see how he handles his players.and to a g.m. who has a vision similiar to my own.good luck young men because the expectations will be very high.in a community*state starving for a champion.a fanbase that's like no other in pro sports.a franchise that at 1 time,was voted the best in all of pro sports.to the fans enjoy this ride,because it's going to have it's peaks and valleys.there going to be some playoffs disappointments*surprises along the way.but by the end of the journey,it will come with at least 2 nba titles for all the hardwork these kids have gone through.i would say that most of these kids on this team now,will not be there when b.roy*p.allen are presented the gold trophy.enjoy it blazersfans because it's going to be fun*electricfying enjoy it fans.

i know i've been planning a contest for this upcoming season.so here's the contest pay good attention.how many wins will the blazers have by the 02/25/08.they would of played 56 games. 2/3 of the season will be done away with.the rules every 1 must pick the win total of the blazers by monday february 25 2008.and 1 big twist nobody can have the same total amount of wins.everyone who enter's this contest must pick a #er between 1-56 and everyone must have a different #er.the winner wins a tremendous prize in my opinion.the winner will be my special guest for a blazers home game this year in april.i know the game you don't.and we'll have dinner at shula's steakhouse.and will personally recieve from me a authentic blazers jersey.it's the real deal folks.of the player and color jersey of choice.this is a $250.00 jersey folks so get in it to win it.now is this a contest or what gang.now if you don't live in oregon or nowhere near portland,you'll definately recieve the jersey but you'll recieve a very nice gift certificate to the resturant or store of your choice.good luck guys and be in it to win it !!!!also this contest will close once everyone picks a #er from 1-56.so i expect by tomorrow the contest will be closed. again good luck everybody.

the great bill walsh,the master and inventor of the west coast offense has past away today at the age of 75.even as arrogant*smug his wine sipping demeanor was,he was a genius offensive of mind.the list of coaches he produced.guys like wyche,green,holmgren,siefert,gruden,reid, marrucci,willingham,fassell,shanahan,the list goes on and on.hall of famers like lott,montana ,rice to name 3.an american icon and mentor for many my condolences to his family,the 49ers,his players and friends.bill walsh may he rest in peace at the tender age of 75.god's speed coach you will be dearly missed..

last night's draft was the best i've seen in portland in a very very long time.i said yesterday that we will get better talent in the 2.nd.rd than guys who're already on our bench right now.boy was i right on that 1.stealing mc.roberts,green a total winner and the smf from syracuse.also getting the great r.fernandez and the kid from finland. wow but the trade of zbo and 2 bench drek's for soft c.frye*s.francis,don't you feel like i do that we should've gotten a sm.foward out of it.but the bottom line is by the end of this summer most or all of our bench drek will be gone.and to me that's a great thing. g.oden is the air craft carrier i said we needed all along.now with a couple of moves like getting rid of guys like jack*webster for some more veteran bench depth.as for the small foward position,guys like l.walton and d.mason will be ready for bidding on sunday. they'll come cheap and econimical.also if they decide to trade for a 3,then i would look at certain teams for a macth.and for you guys who love mediocrity like webster*jack get over it !!!! it's winning time now.it's time to grow up and start kicking some butts. we're marquee now,and we don't have the time or the patience to wacth little boys grow up. in jack's case get over people loving sergio more than you.be a man,get tough,and prove to k.pricthard that you're not as sensitive as you appear.and as far as webster goes,stop trying to be k.bryant and be your damn self. maybe you would start hitting jumpers instead of clanking them off the damn rim..and finally for the die*hard guys who stuck with this team through the dark days of (abbott*costello) nash*patterson tag team.to the brightest and smartest move p.allen ever made.giving the car keys to k.pricthard.this title run for the next 10 years is for you.not the bandwagon oden crowd who can't tell who s.monia is,but for the guys who did'nt hide in the closet.who're proud to be a blazers fan.and to you guys enjoy the 4-6 rings we'll win in the next 13 years.enjoy it true fans of "team glory".

oden-very raw when it comes to playing other bigs
but he's not even stracthed the surface on how great he can be.luke compared him to a young
n.thurmond,which is pretty damn good.can win a
#er of titles with oden,and he's a very well
rounded and boring guy.

durant-wow the most multi-demensional player to
come in the nba since k.garnett.he has a l.bird
jumper the 1 you m.webster supporters claims to
have.and an explosivness of a k.garnett,now to
me that's scary.he won every major college award
as a freshman ver impressive.he's a class act who
only loves basketball*hip*hop a great combination.
he has a great feel for the game and is dedicated.
he's a great team player and a fun loving guy.
he'll definately rookie of the year wherever he ends up.will you win a title with the heartbreak
kid,yes but he'll definately will need a good
supporting cast.and both pdx*sea/ok.city have
very good supportng cast.

bottom line you can win and build a championship
team with either guy.the key is which organization
has the brains to pull it off.and right now the blazers have the upper hand.better management,
ownership and scouting and players*coaches...so
blazers fans enjoy it,because you can titles with
either guy.it's a "win*win" either way!!!!!

i know that 95% of the fans in portland really belives that g.oden is a forgone conclusion. not so fast people,in tomorrow's oregonian k.p. will let you know why he loves k.durant so much. me personally i would take g.oden.but i do feel k.durant is the much better player in my opinion. g.oden is a very very talented center,but k.durant has the potential to be another l.bird/k.garnett. he has a real sweet jumper stroke unlike you guys who still belive in m.webster's supposedly sweet jumper.he also has the explosive skills of k.g. yeah i know all you poden supporter's will talk about his injured wrist and all.but the bottom line is when you win every major college award as a freshman that's not only scary but it solidifies how great this kid is gonna be.so to all you bandwagon jumpers who are convinced that oden is a lock,i would love to see your faces if pricthard takes durant.right now i'll say 55-45 he gonna take durant.excuse me jorga and all the lovely ladies who blog.but it like if you had a choice between j.alba or beyonce you can only choose 1 which 1 are you going to choose..that's the dilemma facing k.pricthard these next 10 days. i advise everyone to read quick's article tomorrow and see how much in his and your opinion,how much he adores k.durant.also wise move by k.p. and coach nate having roy*aldridge pick up and treat each kid,the moment their flights arrive at pdx. and according to casey at blazersblog,even roy and aldridge have a diffreence in opinion which 1 they like better.so all you bandwagon fans who really belive that it's all g.oden,i'll have the suicide *jump off the bandwagon hotline all ready for you if or when mr.pricthard choose k.durant over oden. and "HAPPY FATHER'S DAY"to all the dad's at blazersedge..

i want to 1.st congradulate the s.a.spurs on winning their 4.th nba title.it could'nt have happen to a better frnchise.you know what you blazers fans fell to realize.2 franchises went in opposite directions with 1 shot.portland blew a 11.pt lead in game 1 in the 99 w.c.f and blew a 18.pt lead in game 2.but to me the s.elliot 3 pointer with 2 sec left started this great 9 year run of dominance.while the blazers 9 years of wondering where did it go wrong.it's kind of ironic that the blazers are going to have a choice of a franchise center or a potentially a franchise do all type of player.while the spurs have about another 2-3 year window.the blazers potentially have a 10-12 year window.both franchises in 2 of the smallest markets in pro sports.the spurs class exceeds brilliance and excellance.the blazers the laughing stocks of leno*kimmel.the spurs clean cut guys well spoken well educated.the blazers thugs criminals and clowns.the spurs well ran the blazers with a dictator to his credit made the playoffs then when management went the abbott*costello route and became the comedy act before d.chappelle. then something funny happened,on march 29,2007 owner p.allen saw the light.he gave young mastermind from the spurs organization k.pricthard the keys to the organization and as good buddy name j.gleason would say"and away we go".the spurs and blazers do have a lot of similarities now.clean cut well spoken guys which the pdx community is gravitating to.cities with their teams the only ticket in town.and very soon teams which america especially east of missouri bandwagon nba fans hate.you know why people are going to hate us like s.antonio.becuase we'll begin winning in a very methodical style of game. yes team ball everyone the way the spurs,jazz, rockets,pistons play.championship basketball not street ball like the lakers,cavs,heat, play 1on1 nope.real basketball the way j.wooden intended the game to be played.i love that the ratings for the nba finals are a disaster.get used to it bandwagon fans because in 09 when portland is playing.nate will have all his defensive stoppers and veteran role players who'll with the tripilits will be in i'll say 10% of all of america's homes.and to that i say kiss my a@@ bandwagon fans.the spurs are the model franchise in all of sports and now seattle,cavs,blazers, and even the suns like s.kerr said will slowly start gravitating to the great g.poppovich style of play.so to you people who don't appreciate greatness,get used to it because the blazers, suns,sonics,and cavs all have thing in common stars and young talent.so to s.a.spurs i salute you and thank-you for showing america how team sports breathes success and titles.and to the blazers and especially to you mr.allen for finally not listening to bud abbott(s.patterson) and using your 20,000,000,000 brain and let young pricthard move this franchise in a shinny direction a soon to be championship direction. and we have the s.a.spurs and r.c.buford to thank from all of us blazers fans thank-you r.c.buford for k.pricthard....

1.st of all i love to thank everyone who rad my 1.st diary yesterday.i can tell i touched a lot nerves and that's great.i also had a smattering of support and that's great too.but the bottom line for my post yeserday was to let all of the lifelong and new blazersedge members that this does exist bigtime.only in the nba does this type of euphoria happens.anyway my 3 year old nephew is making me smile as i speak so to those people who've i've touched a nerve i'm sorry.and i do sincerely mean it!!! for those who support my feelings i'm taking the high road.where is guys like damir,prophet,and blazernation when i really need them.as for those who said we should all be in this together well so be it...as for me and anyone over 35 i'll be wacthing my seasons 1 of chips*fall guy 2 great dvd classic and real television i might add today.and damn does heather thomas still looks great for her age wow you talk about a hottie the 2 heather's thomas*locklear boy i live in the past right g.g. my nephew just gave me a hug*kiss just now!!! i've only known him for 3 days and i really have fallen for this kid.and the best thing is he's with thru labor day.and yes he'll get his toddler's aldridge,roy,and oden jerseys before the end of july....finally i will say that everyone in this room has 1 thing in common-we respect the logo,the tradition,the team and most importantly the the fans who've always and forever love the scarlet,black,white..team glory and most importantly "god's team".is a where it's at baby 1 center court the place to be for at least the next 10-12 years.and of course blazersedge.com unless dave pulls a e.marinette and go hollywood.by the way dave have you heard from eric since we won the lottery.enjoy it every one enjoy this run we all deserve it...
