With two starters likely inactive for the game against the Lions I think it's time to let Simpson, Coffman or both be active.

Cincy Jungle Jeremi Johnson: Lardy Loser or Hefty Hero

This is a first time post so please excuse its deficiencies. Last year, among the various offensive problems we had, was the lack of a fullback (don't give me that  "what about a converted tight end playing fullback"). Did everyone notice how our QB got pummeled and the running lanes were a tad narrow? I'm not saying that there were not other huge problems-like the lack of a professional center- but I think Jeremi Johnson's contribution's to protection and running the ball have been underestimated. He was getting a lot of heat (and rightfully so) for being out of shape but I think he has been coming through in a big way-IMO.
