Max Hall Rookie of the Week
LOL!!! Seriously I think people just voted for him to be funny or something, this is ridiculous otherwise. Thank god he threw for mediocre yardage, an interception, and fumbled at the goal-line luckily having it recovered for a touchdown. That apparently makes him the biggest contributor to the win on his team and puts him way ahead of the rest of the nominees.

Giants Release Antonio Pierce
Surprised and sort of not surprised to hear this, but it looks like this will put middle linebacker at the top of the Giants list of needs this offseason.

Eagles need to cover tight ends
It only gets tougher from here on out if you think these past few weeks have been bad getting burned by Zach Miller, Kellen Winslow, and Jeremy Shockey. Well, you haven't seen anything yet. This is only the beginning, the Eagles have almost every team with an elite tight end on its roster in their schedule. If the Eagles defense doesn't find a way to cover tight ends these guys will be running up their stats like crazy against us. Looking closely at the schedule ahead we have to face tight ends like, Chris Cooley, Jason Witten, Antonio Gates and Tony Gonzalez. If we can't cover those guys how are we going to cover these perennial pro bowlers.
P.S. Kevin Boss can eat it...
*update* There I changed the title lol...
Pepsi Rookie of the Week awards
I was absolutely shocked this week to read that once again none other than Knowshon Moreno won the Pepsi Rookie of the week award. I don't see how on Earth Knowshon deserved it both weeks he won it, and same goes for Mark Sanchez I think he only played well enough to earn it the first week. I honestly thought Jeremy Maclin had it in the bag for this week, but once again it comes down to Knowshon Moreno or Mark Sanchez, and I don't see what they did to earn it. I thought the competition for this week wasn't even there Sanchez didn't win his game, Moreno didn't have like a 100 yard rushing game and he fumbled the ball, and Collie and Nicks were both under 100 yards. Maclin stood out like a sore thumb with 142 yards and 2 touchdowns, and instead a guy fumbled the ball both weeks gets the award. I'm sure Denver fans would argue for their guy, but it just irritates me. I know the award probably means less than the production but I like to see our players get respect and recognition for what they do.
