Stan Jones, a longtime coach for the Denver Broncos, used to tell me about playing both offense and defense for the Chicago Bears, before he was selected to the Hall of Fame.
Once he asked owner/coach George Halas for something like a $500 raise, and Halas told him to leave the room for a minute. When Jones returned and asked about his raise, Halas replied: "You're talking to the wrong guy. I've traded you to the Redskins."

If I remember correctly he was near dead on for forever in last years draft and while that doesn't neccessarily mean he is a great talent evaluator it does mean that he had the same feeling for players and teams needs as those teams scouts and FOs had.
Draft "gurus" are a dime per dozen and are all convinced they are right but is Mayock that good or just extremely lucky last year and who do you like best?

"The Dolphins got something of a scare this week when the University of Mississippi came calling about talking to quarterback coach David Lee about their offensive coordinator job.
Lee was the offensive coordinator for Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt when the two were at the University of Arkansas. Although Lee remains a candidate, he has not interviewed and a television station in Tulsa reported Dave Rader is expected to get the job.
The Clarion-Ledger is reporting Rader hasn't gotten the job quite yet so one must assume anything can happen. I'll keep you updated."
Is there any way to delete others' fanposts?There's like 4 concerning Nolan and others I have no interest in reading at all and it clutters my page and I will like to delete or hide them..is this possible?

This is about as close Sparano has come to throwing someone under the bus publicly IMO, we'll see if it serves as some much needed motivation come Sunday.
