Jets may be making a play for FA Right Guards
Brandon Moore had offseason hip surgery and said the he cannot participate in off season contact camp and is not sure of the timeline for his full return. This may mean the Jets may pick up a few more UDFA O lineman for camp than originally anticipated or be more eager to trade for O lineman/resign Rob Turner/Wayne Hunter just in case Moore is not ready for the season.
The nine-year veteran, who is recovering from offseason hip surgery, said he won't be ready for full contact once camp begins and is not sure of his timeline yet. Moore hopes to meet with team athletic trainer John Mellody tomorrow and use the training room.

Good news with the cap situation
I don't know how much about the cap everybody knows (or if i overlooked this fact in a post) but after watching ESPN the whole day it was shown that the Jets were over the cap by around 1-2 million which really worried me. Since then i found this article ( http://www.thejetsblog.com/2011/07/25/salary-cap-update-2010-dead-money-will-not-count/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter ) saying they are instead almost 8 million under which gives a lot more wiggle room than I originally anticipated to start free agency. This got me pretty excited, so i decided just to pass it on.
