Whats going on with Mike Aviles?
Have the Royals just forgotten about him? This guy had one hell of a rookie year. I know he sucked last year, for the little time he played, but that could have been a result of him being injured. So I guess what I'm asking is.. Is Aviles hurt? and if not, Is Aviles still going to be our SS or are we really just going to play that P.O.S. Betancourt over him? I definitely feel he still deserves a starting shot because of what he did in '08. Anyone got answers?

Say It Ain't So, Sammy
The above photo shows Sosa on the left at a May 2009 People Magazine event. The right is Sosa earlier this week in Las Vegas for the Latin Grammys.
What the hell are you doing Sammy.
From NBCchicago.com
The cause of Sammy's skin condition is unknown, but guesses from around the web include vitiligo (a skin-whitening genetic condition that Michael Jackson claimed to suffer from), repercussions from steroid use, and "really bad makeup."
But a former Cubs rep told the Tribune he's going through some sort of skin rejuvenation process.
"He's not trying to be Michael Jackson," Rebecca Polihronis told the paper. "He was surprised he came out looking so white."

Zack Greinke Trade Completed???
From 'Brew Crew Ball' SB nation site:
Rambling Al stumbled upon a great Zack Greinke rumor. Apparently, Zack is practically a Brewer right now, having been traded for JJ Hardy, Mat Gamel, Angel Salome, and Manny Parra. The Brewers and Royals are just waiting for the WS to end before it can go through.
Needless to say, this is unsubstantiated. I'm wondering where the Badger Blogger is on this story, though. Covering the Zack Greinke trade rumors the way the Zack Greinke trade rumors fear!
Surely this isn't true. This is absolutely crazy. I would think it would take a lot more than that shitty package. What do you guys think?

In his first foray into Mixed Martial Arts, Jose Canseco was pummeled by a 7-2, 330-pound grand champion of sumo, Hong Man Choi of South Korea, during a MMA show earlier Tuesday at Yokohama Arena in Japan.
The admitted steroid user and whistle-blower entered the ring hauling a baseball bat over his right shoulder and was accompanied by his girlfriend and publicist, Heidi Northcott, who tossed baseballs into the crowd as they slowly descended a ramp toward the ring. Canseco, 44, would have been wise to use the club against his opponent.
I DVR'd the fight and it was funny.. Canseco actually started out not too bad with a punch landed.. then later kicked the giant and hurt his knee and eventually wound up on the ground where he quickly went into the fetal position
