I never have been a San Francisco baseball fan unless years ago when Willie Mays played centerfield for the Giants. I look forward to following them this year because of my interest in the rookie, Buster Posey. I see where Buster is ranked in the top ten of several list to be a future player in the NL.

Johnny Bench predicted Buster would be a very outstanding player in major league baseball. And Johnny Bench is not a sports writer from the East Coast.

I love old baseball stories and the past baseball trivia of the players.

I was fortunate to have seen Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams,Hank Aaron, and Chipper Jones play.
