Bad Left Hook ALI, the G.O.A.T

Having watched Facing Ali, I can now confidently say that Muhammad Ali was the GBOAT, yes that includes Sugar Ray Robinson. In his prime, he was untouchable and unbeatable. He was a tremendous Human being who had the utmost respect from all his opponents and yes that includes Joe Fraizer who said recently that he "loves Ali".

Ali never quit, and according to Angelo Dundee he never planned on quiting at the start of the 14th round in Manilla.

He moved people, he upset the odds time and time again, and is probably the greatest sportsmen of all time

A tribute to Muhammad Ali, too good not to pass on. Worth our time, a good way to forget about Pac May disaster

These blood demands are ridiculous, Manny has no reason to take it. Mayweather is the bad guy here.

Bad Left Hook 5 reasons why Khan's Chin is stronger than you think it is

A lot of people assume that Amir has a glass chin and that somewhere down the line he is heading for another brutal K.O. Well, here is five reasons why you may all are wrong.

5. Against Kotelnik, Khan did get hit by a few, not many, powerful shots which did not faze him at all

4. A few people say that Khan has a weak chin because he has been knocked down early in his career. Part of this probably has to do with balance, someone like Juan Manuel Marquez also gets knocked down a lot but I don't think anyone thinks that his chin is weak. Khan's balance has improved under his new strength and conditioning coach Alex Ariza, who notieced that Khan was very top heavy and helped him distrubute the weight in his body better. As a result, Khan's balance has improved and his legs are much more stable

3. Early in his career, Khan was very, very poor defensivly, meaning he would get hit a lot, part of the reason he got hit by such power shots from Prescott. Freddie Roach has improved Khan's defence immensly

2. Most people say Khan has a weak chin because of his loss to Prescott. Lets not forget though that Prescott had tons of power. 18 of his 21 wins came by K.O., all of those K.O's in the 1st round.

skip to the 10 second mark

If you see Khan was hit by a big shot, from which he never recovered.

1. Khan was a lightweight, he is a light welterweight now. Light welter suits Khan's body much better, Freddie Roach said he had difficulty making the Lightweight limit often and was therefore a little drained come fight night. Khan is far stronger, faster, and more powerful at 140

any disagreements? Prove me wrong with reasons!

By the way, if anyone can let me know how I can watch the fight here in the U.S. can you let me know please!

Bad Left Hook The Sad Truth

With Million buy ppv fights like Mayweather Marquez and probably Pacquiao Cotto, Boxing, a sport that many have labeled as dead, was enjoying a period of increased popularity and exposure. Unfortunately, I realize now this brief period may be over soon and the sport may possibly even enter the darkest hour in it's history.

You see, the big names are what is keeping the sport afloat at the moment, and the biggest draws, Money May and Manny are hopefully set for what could be the most lucrative bout of all time. But what happens after Mayweather Pacquiao? Pacquiao will likely retire and the same may go for Mayweather. Without it's two biggest stars, who can carry the sport and fuel ppv buys like Oscar De La Hoya did. There are a great deal of talented youngsters but no one that is a real hot commodity

so while Mayweather Pacquiao might be the biggest fight ever, will it be the last big fight for years?

Golden State Of Mind The truth about the current Monta Ellis situation

When I first heard the rumors about Ellis, I was a little skeptical seeing how it was from Tim K. Now, Im pretty confident it was all just a rumor. Larry Riley was recently on KNBR,  and he talked about Monta Ellis who is currently working out in Memphis. If you want to hear yourself, the link is below, it's not a bad interview.

http://www.nba.com/warriors/multimedia/audio_archive.html

anyhow, basically, Riley said they asked about if Ellis was fine with them drafting a point gaurd and he said he was. plain and simple. Now, I know some of you may not trust Riley, but do you really believe this less than what Kawakami's saying?

What do you all think?

Golden State Of Mind The Case for Jrue Holiday

This years draft is definetly weak, and the difference between the fourth and tenth pick is marginal. I think we need to draft on need this year, as there are some places we are in desperate need of help. We need to move Monta back to the 2 because that is where he is most effective. On the defensive end, he is unable to effectively gaurd larger SG's. So, as I am sure you all already know, we need a pass first Point that can defend the two.

Jennings is undersized and no good defensively. Baron's contract would make bringing him back unrealistic. Ricky Rubio's agent is Fegan, and he is probably gone by the 7th pick. Holiday, who will probably be still on the board by the time we are up has the size Jennings doesn't have, he's 6-4. He is also a good defender, good passer, and, according to Draft Express, can defend multiple positions meaning the 2. He is perfect!
