Awesome news, the reports are trickling in that Beane and co. has signed Wuertz to a two year deal with club option. That takes care of his final arbitration eligible year plus his first as a free agent.

No one has the numbers yet (at least the A's official twitter has confirmed it), but I'm guessing it's 2.5m and 3m for 2011. I'd like to think that he'll give us around 1.5-2 WAR per season. Other than almost blowing the comeback vs. Twins... I have no complaints :D

EDIT: forgot about the club option, which makes the deal sweeter... well... I better wait until the numbers are revealed.
