2/20/12-Update on JLYOP

She has begun the long recovery process. She should be released in the next day or two. She is banged up pretty badly and has several broken bones.

One thing that is not broken is her spirit. She is as feisty as ever. To the point of being defiant. Hopefully she'll be back in action soon and able to provide more.

A complete and full recovery seems probable.

Our very own JustLikeYouOnlyPrettier was involved in a quite serious automobile accident this past week. She is currently still in the hospital and probably will be for at least several more days. Ironically, she is a community Sweetheart and the wreck occurred on Valentine's Day. A cruel twist.

There not many details I'm currently at liberty to share. I suspect I'm on treacherous ground even posting this here. But I wanted to solicit some thoughts and prayers from her "home away from home" in an effort to bring a little cheer to her days.

Thank all of you for anything you choose to pass along to her. I'm sure it will be cherished and appreciated. And if there is any more information I find myself able to provide I will certainly do so. On the other hand, if you never hear from me again you'll know that this didn't go over very well. Thanks, Folks.

I know we all look forward to significant defensive improvement by the Seminoles this year.  We also don't seem to have a consensus as to how to define "significant".  Realism, expectation, hope, wish, dream...all words that seem to create heated debate when discussing just how much better these defenders can or will be.  The purpose of this post is to offer an example of another squad that seems to have had similar obstacles to overcome and the outcome for their situation.
