Dorin Dickerson
Where will Dorin Dickerson be drafted?
A superior athlete that catches the ball well. Already sounds better than most if not all of our receivers, tight ends, and fullbacks. A target as bigand strong as a tight end and as fast and quick if not faster and quicker than most receiver. In Workouts he catches almost everything thrown at him. He also posted the second highest vertical and an impressive broad jump. May I remind you he is 6'4. The only question is where all to play him?
How late will he go in the draft?
I would to see the Chiefs to take him but should they grab him in the 3rd or hope he falls to the 4th? I'd say given our high choice he may a reach in 3rd but a steal in the 4th.
I'd take him in the 3rd if nothing else he could be a project player and contribute significantly on special teams.
...But then again if Torell Troup is there do we pass on him for Dickerson? If we haven't taken a NT by 3 then take Troup then trade up into third for Dickerson.
Trindon Holliday
Another LSU guy but he may be a cheap and solid option to fix our return game. He is projected in the 7th-FA. Boasts a 4.27 forty but despite his 5'5-5'6 168-170 pound frame he could be helpful in screens and other special situations. Might even be good in the Wes Welker slot position.
01/01/2010 - CAPITAL ONE BOWL, MATCHUP TO WATCH: Penn State's coverage units vs. LSU WR Trindon Holliday: Penn State gave up yards by the dozen to opposing kickoff and punt returners this season, finishing 62nd in the nation in kickoff defense and 120th in punt return defense. The small (5-foot-7) but slippery Holliday averaged 17.7 yards per punt return, second in the nation, and 23.7 yards per kickoff return and will be a huge priority for the Nittany Lions.
01/01/2010 - PLAYERS TO WATCH: RB Trindon Holliday - A kick return specialist, LSU got Holliday more involved in the running game after injuries sidelined Charles Scott and Keiland Williams late in the season. Holliday is a burner; LSU bills him as college football's fastest runner.

2010 Pro Bowlers?
I think Chiefs could go from 0 players to 9 of the their players in the Pro Bowl next year (does NOT include offseason acquisitions 2009 returning players only). With our new all-star coaching staff we could bring in some of the top free agents that have seen the Chiefs become a totally different team in the last games of the season. Good teams send more players to the playoffs.
Here is my list in no particular order (given players stay healthy):
2. Brandon Albert (improved late in the year and will have a good season)
3. Ryan Succop
4. Matt Cassel ( not a big fan but with a run game, weis, and better protection he is poised to put up some numbers)(and don't kid yourself he will have all three)
5. Tamba Hali
7. Glenn Dorsey (played well this year and can only get better with some help at nose tackle)
8. Derrick Johnson (if resigned which is possible, struggles with consistency but has big play ability that can turn games around- will play a lot more next year)
9. Left this one up for grabs... we will see
Just a thought at Fullback
I think Cory Mayes would make a great fullback. He is 6'1 245 pounds, physical, mobile, and a pretty smart player. He was called a leader early in the year and a guy that always knew what he was suppose to do on defense. He showed he was a fast learner and he already understands defenses. If we resign Derrick Johnson on defense we don't really need him at linebacker. He just recently turned 26 and could be that big bruising fullback the Chiefs have missed since Tony Richardson.
Wishful thinking... but what do you think?
2010 Chiefs
QB Matt Cassel in open competition Brodie Croyle(Game 1 against Ravens with the same supporting cast as Cassel, Better arm and can stay healthy with better protection), Matt Gutierrez
RB Jamaal Charles, Jackie Battle, Dantrell Savage
FB Mike Cox
WR Chris Chambers, Mark Bradley,
WR Dwayne Bowe, Lance Long, Jacoby Ford(KR) ( taken with 3rd or late 2nd)
TE Brad Cottam, Lenard Pope,
LT Brandon Albert, Marcus McNeil
LG Jahri Evans(FA Saints), Wade Smith
C Brian Waters, Rudy Niswanger
RG Mike Lupati (1st 2nd round), Collin Brown
RT Marcus McNeil (FA Chargers), , Barry Richardson
K Ryan Succop
LDE Tyson Jackson, Alex Magee
NT Terrence Cody (Trade next year's first and late rounder to move back into the first), Ron Edwards
RDE Glenn Dorsey, Dion Gales
LOLB Andy Studebaker, Mike Vrabel (first in at any linebacker)
LILB Demmorio Williams, Jovan Belcher
RILB Demeco Ryan (FA Texans), Cory Mays
ROLB Tamba Hali, Pierre Walters
SS Eric Berry (taken with first pick amy have to package to move up), Mike Brown, Dajuan Morgan
FS Jarad Page, John McGraw
CB Brandon Flowers, Maurice Leggett, Travis Daniels
CB Brandon Carr, Donald Washington
Could see a couple OL, LB, WR in the mid and late rounds of the draft
This would be ideal if we can manage to obtain these players. Even if we missed on a couple i think we would have pretty good roster.
