Peyton 2008 NFL MVP!

Peyton Manning has just been awarded his third MVP!!

"Peyton Manning has joined Brett Favre as the only three-time winners of The Associated Press NFL Most Valuable Player Award.

The Indianapolis Colts quarterback was a landslide winner Friday in balloting by a nationwide panel of 50 sports writers and broadcasters who cover the NFL. Manning also was the league MVP in 2003, when he shared it with Tennessee quarterback Steve McNair, and in 2004.

Favre, then with Green Bay, took MVP honors in 1995 and '96 before sharing it with Detroit running back Barry Sanders in 1997.

Manning received 32 votes, far ahead of Miami quarterback Chad Pennington and Atlanta running back Michael Turner."

Inactives

Tonight's inactives are:

Colts: SS Bob Sanders, DB Brandon Foster, LB Buster Davis, C Steve Justice, TE Jamie Petrowski, WR Roy Hall, DT Daniel Muir, DE Curtis Johnson.

Chargers: QB Charlie Whitehurst (3rd), CB Cletis Gordon, RB Michael Bennett, G Kynan Forney, OT Corey Clark, FB Kris Wilson, DE Luis Castillo, DT Ian Scott.

Not sure what to make of Muir being inactive, must be a healthy scratch as he hasn't been on the injury report all week.

Colts Trade For McCargo

Just like I said they would :)

Colts Trade for McCargo

"The Bills made a trade before the NFL deadline Tuesday afternoon, it just wasn’t the one everyone was expecting. Instead of adding a player Buffalo made a subtraction sending defensive tackle John McCargo to theIndianapolis Colts for an undisclosed draft pick."

What do you guys think? I think it's a good move, he's first round talent, fits the system, and could really develop into a player for us.

Wow what a dumb draft move, first they move up in the second round to pick him, then they part ties with him only two years later.
