post waiver deal?

yes the non-waivers deadline is over but it doesnt mean trades are all done. Mo said that if a deal could be made he's willing to look at it but that doesnt neccissarily mean anythign at all but just in pure speculation what is out there for us?

a post on mlbtraderumors.com listed players that could slide throught waivers based on large contract, injuries, etc. One named listed is Michael Young of Texas.

I know that its way out there but he's signed throught '13 making 5 million this year and 16 mil the rest. ALong with them being 11.5 games outta the west behind LAA they are also 5 games out of the wild card behind teams like boston, ny, and white sox. teams that don't seem likely to fall apart ecspecially after their trades. SO...... what would it take to pry away young?

I could see jaime garcia, brian barden, and skip/barton

we can afford to give one of them up or even both with our large amount in the minors and with ankiel injured trading one of them could give rasmus the chance he's been waiting for

thats just one of my views

lay it on

Maybe?

Since nobody here thinks Rasmus is worth Holliday and Fuentes what about dealing Duncan, Garcia, Reyes, PTBNL for Bedard and Arthur Rhodes. Seattle needs a first basemen/DH and Duncan can provide some pop now that Sexson is gone then Reyes needs a fresh start and can be solid. Garcia is a good prospect.

Right now Bedard probably isn't going to cost a ton but this is a potential trade, or how about Bryan Anderson, Stavinoha, Garcia/Reyes, and Ryan for Bay and Jack Wilson?

PLEASE DO SOMETHING

The cardinals are currently sliding down slowly and with the brew crew trading for sabathia and cubs getting harden we need to make some sorta move

Whether its in the bullpen, middle infield, or anywhere A leftly in the pen would help alot with on vallone out there and he's not doing his job to well on getting out his priority in lefties then also a consistent bat or one with some pop

Run production is low and we need help through the whole lineup not just pujols, ludwick, and ankiel

Any Suggestions?!?!?

possible trade? (edited)

With yadier being here for at least 4 more yrs thts blocks bryan anderson whose hitting .333 in AAA so why not give him up along with stavinoha whose hitting .347 for Matt Holiday.

Holliday is on the block and we have another cather behind anderson that is having a solid yr splitting time hitting .275 which isnt bad. Also at the current rate rasmus doesnt look to be on the verge to come up this yr hitting only .249

why not give up Anderson who is a prospect, Jaime Garcia who yes will be a good prospect but not so hot this yr may need another half season in the minors and that being enough time for mulder and carp to get back 100% which gives us carp, mulder, wainright, lohse, and wellemeyer. Then add in Duncan who should be playing first and will with Helton getting older and a hitter friendly park will sure help him and that division w/ somebody like stavinoha or similar

So wats wrong w/ Anderson, Garcia, Duncan, and Stavinoha for Holliday

2 solid prospects, 1 possible in stavinoha, and a player that hasn’t had quite enough time to prove himself at first and in the lineup

Lohse

Who else is in the running to start the all-star game besides him and why shouldn't he get the start for the NL

2nd in winning% and tied for 2nd in the NL for wins + a solid ERA

My top four guys in the race for the all-star starting role is Lohse, Webb, Volquez, and Lincecum. If not Lohse now, then what must he do in his last couple starts or is there no chance?

trades/offseason moves

what to do?

no middle infield or corner outfield power bat and solid starting 5

hopefully carp will return somewat strong and progrss from there but only wellemeyer and lohse have been strong

could we see roberts at 2nd b4 season end or possible lowe, wolf, or nebody else on the bump

and could somebody give me a reason not to pursue furcal in the offseason w/ speed, pretty good pop at leadoff, and great defensively why not go after him
