Here is an article about what the Univeristy of Texas at San Antonio may do next year to get some media buzz about their football program at the Alamo Dome. That would be a nice touch to truly orange out the Dome.

According to the Texas TEch Basketball website, it looks like the Red Raiders are making a trip to the Don in December. Hopefully Tech makes something of their season and this can be another good opportunity at a major conference OOC win.

Awesome. Totally love the matchups here. This could be a very good early season bump for the Miners. A win against Tech and hopefully we would get a game against Syracuse in a pseudo home game setting for Syracuse. This is a huge chance to get that big OOC win.

I know its early but it also nice to see what is to come in the next season. UTEP could get a matchup with Syracuse, Georgia Tech, or Michigan in Atlantic City over the Thanksgiving holiday this coming November.

These things are really carved in jello but it is nice the see the Miners showing up on the bracketology in February. It means this teams recent push has turned some heads on the NCAA selection committee or the best braket guy out there not on the commitee. Keep it rolling Miners and we will see you in the tourney!
