I need some more words here. There were a ton of Lin and Melo stuff... if your into what everyone else has. Basically no Chandler/Shump/Novak unless you can fit into a XL or XXL jersey... which I can not.

I dont have too many thoughts about this game. I mean, I wanted us to win... but c'mon.

It was a wild ride of a season. In the end, it was somewhat disappointing. I didnt want it to end on a 4-1 series loss. I was hoping to compete. I am gonna have an off season post later this week prob, so I wont get into how I cant wait for JR to be off this team...

Last night I didnt really watch the game. It was me and my girls 4 year anniversary, so i recorded it. I watched it when we got home, but on fast forward... with plans on watching in real time if it was close.... so I didnt really watch any in real time.

Seems melo had an OK game. I cant help but point out that the team looks so much better with Landry out there then JR. Its just so mind blowingly obvious to me. Yes. Landry may not be as gifted a scorer, but the ball moves. There is also this:

Its the top reason I really really really hope Woodson is not back next year.

I dont have much else to say. Miami is a way better, healthier team. Whatever. Time to start thinking about how to improve what we got with little assets, no cap space and no draft picks.

Not to much to say. I still dont like the way woodson coaches. I hope he isnt back.

Melo - I have grown to enjoy. As I drunkenly screamed during the meetup, I can hate the trade that got him here and still like the player. I am not gonna say that he didnt try hard and I was glad to see him working for rebounds and playing great defense. Here is the thing though, that SHOULD be a given. Our superstar trying hard is not anything that is going to determine if he had a good game. I am not sure what to make of the fact that some are saying he worked hard as justification when peop are upset with him. To me, if he had even 50% of the kind of game he was having all of April in either game 2 or 3, we could have won. But he didnt. Again. He sucked, and we sucked because of it. Thanks for the rebounds dude... but 7-23 is just an awful game from "the most prolific scorer in the league."

One last note. I get that his teammates were not stepping up (well, Jorts was in his 5 awesome min before getting benched for I guess not having enough tattoos). I only wish we had a player that could drive to the rim and pick up a foul. Or hit a 3 point shot. It would really be cool if he was European and a hit with the ladies. If only we had a guy like that...

I am not on board with just wanting the season to end. I want to win a freakin playoff game. I want this team to know they can win a game. Shit, I wanna prolong it as long as possible. lets win 2. Give these guys a little something positive. And to shut Chuck the fuck up about getting swept. Just win one game boys. Please. For us. We really need it...

As I watch highlights of Ricky Rubio doing all we dreamed he would do in another uniform, I just went back to think about all the guys we almost drafted the past couple years... just to have them be whisked away just before we can get our hands on them.

I really liked the lineup of Jorts, Balkman, Landry, ShumpShump, and DWTDD. all guys who went to school for 4 years. all about the same age. all smart players, who do the little things. all guys that appreciate hard work on Defense. All guys who are somewhat underdogs, but have had success in the college game. I wouldnt run them out there against the other teams starting lineup, or if they have any big big men... but as a 2nd unit, it has an interesting, blue collar kind of makeup.

I LOVE the idea of Melo as a point forward.

Tyson Chandler is my new fav player on this team. Dude was first one to stand up. He gets it, and I am really so happy he is on our team. And he is only 29... and over 7 foot tall... damn. we have a franchise kind of center here. how did that happen?

I dont have high hopes of winning game 1. I think the C's are gonna be much more prepared, having played together for a while... All I want to see out of the Knicks (besides being competitive) is them having fun. I think that is honestly the key to this season. If they are out there enjoying themselves, there is just too much talent for them to not win. If they start getting on each other and cracking under pressure, this thing can fall apart.

The Spanish point guard has agreed to join the Timberwolves next season, ending a drawn-out, delicate, two-year negotiation with the team that had many league observers believing he did not want to play in Minnesota.

A person with knowledge of the agreement confirmed to The Associated Press Wednesday night that Rubio will be in Minnesota next season, giving the woebegone Timberwolves a much-needed dose of good news.

not to get into a whole "how can we get rubio thing??@?@?!!!"

But rather, with it looking like the little euro will be playing int he great white north next season, my question is... what happens to his contract situation? Is it like he is a rookie now? Or does he become a FA when the rest of his draft class does?

I also understand that it all prob means nothing without the new CBA in place yet.

I am actually happier that he is coming over to minn now. He may get better and better and go though his growing pains... then come to NY (where he wants to play) as a FA when he is ready to contribute. That all depends though on when he will be a FA...

So it seems like Billups will be out next game.

Am I the only one who is actually a little excited by what will happen? I think this is a spot of Toney to really step up. This is by no means to disrespect Chauncy, who is a gamer and a force... but the team really clicked when he went down after the trade and his style of play is not very comparable with Mike D. Compared to Toney, who has played in the system for 2 years and is a much better defender.

With CB on the bench to help guide Toney, it feels like it could be time for our golden boy to shine.

Its time for the Knicks to DWTDD.
