Garrett Calcaterra lives on the west coast, eking out a living as a writer and teacher. He is author of the horror book Umbral Visions and co-author of the historical fantasy novel, The Roads to Baldairn Motte, due out Summer 2011. When not writing, he enjoys watching basketball (go Kings!), hiking with his two dogs, and quaffing good beer.
