Some lefty...Looks like he has stuff just poor comand and he has really been hit hard in his young career....

25 years old and never heard of him

as long as we didnt give up much cash or  a bad player than i like the deal...this guy could become a great pitcher or just another scub...

what are ur thoughts and opinions?

P.S. - I bet ur the stros end up pulling off a deal for peavy either straight up or 3 way where valverde and/or wigginton go along with Sapp Bogusevic and prolly more!

Y don't the astros make some offers with valverde? Valverde is worth more than Lidge was last year...the stros can ship him to get Peavy (Hoffman looks to be gone so they could use a closer)...

Offer:  valverde, wandy, sapp, and bogusevic/bourn for peavy (and others)

Then the stros look for a closer...maybe try and get K-Rod or Jenks...they do have some nice youngsters and maybe they can try out paulino to close...or maybe sign hoffman

This is just something i thought of...what do you think?
