Whose your favorite? Personally for me its Fitz and Brooks without a doubt. The tandem seem to have chemistry and always seem to say what makes sense. Also never afraid to put a stupid caller in place. My least favorite would have to be either Damon Bruce or Balberi. All Bruce does is throw out horrible ideas, spread rumors, and ignore peoples valid points when made. With Barberi I just cant stand his approach to the Giants. "Just give Texiera what he wants even if its 200 million" I really think that the man is clueless when it comes to baseball. Sabean tearin him a new one was great to hear. He needed to be told that. Anywho, who is your favorite?

USC VS. Penn State is the matchup. Of the people i talk to I am the only one that is giving Penn State a chance? The current spread is USC by 10, anyone else giving Penn State a chance? Or will it be total domintion by USC.

Defense: USC is giving up under 10 ppg, but Penn States MLB are world class

Edge:USC

Offense: Its easy to just call this an easy win for USC with Mark Sanchez but Penn Statae is actually averaging more PPG this year.

Edge: Penn Statae

Coaching: Carrol VS Paternp. Matchup of coaching legends. Joe Pa is expected to coach from the sideline this game, first time since the end of September. Carrol is a caoching legend and is making history every year with continous great teams

Edge: Toss up

Records: Each team has one loss on the season both to unranked conference opponenets. In the case of USC they simply overlooked Orgeon State, with a matchup with Ohio State a week later. They were out of that game form the get go and really never looked in it. With a win in that game, there is no doubt about it they are in the National Championship game. The same could be said for Penn Statae who also lost 1 game to a unranked conforence opponenet. This very easily could have been a national title game but with a couple of slip ups it is a number 5 Vs a number 8.

Edge: Penn State. Their loss was on a GW FG as time expired

I've currently got my money on Penn State but I'm not to college football savy.

On that dreadful day when the Giants signed Barry Zito and cursed the franchise for the next seven years. I remember I was making breakfast for the family watching ESPN and at the bottom reads Giants signe Barry Zito to 7 year 126 million dollar deal. My initial reaction was yay (as was most of your, dont hide around it) the Giants signed an ace for the next 7 years. Then Peter Gamons came on with his instant insight noting how he thought this could be one of the worst contarcts ever and the signing made absolutley no sense. I offically hated Gammons; now i respect the hell out of him for seeing that coming so early. SCREW YOU ZITO.

SS Solution?

Not really much of a solution, but more of an expirement; We try and trade for former top regaurded A's prospect Bobby Crosby. The price will be VERY cheap and will never be lower. Now before you jump all over my ass for saying we should trade for a .250 hitter what else do you suppose? Burris is at 2nd base, and the only other option is Ivan Ochoa, Also Crosby plays stellar D WHEN healthy. If they ask for a lot just forget it but i think that he could come real cheap with the emergence of Cliff Pennington. Just saying.

Offseason

This offseason should be very exciting and all I reall want to see done are 2 moves: Sanchez for Davis, therefore giving us a stud young 1st baseman, dont give me the Villonava argument, he is 17 years old. How much can you want from one kid? If he devolps then great, then we have 2 of the best young and upcoming 1st baseman in the game. (This is a Good thing) We could also just put Big V in the OF if necessary. He figures to be ready in about 4 years, when Rowands contract is up.

Second, and final move, sign Rafael Furcal to a very lucrative 4 yr/ 55 million dollar deal. We have no legitate Middle infield prospects (This means that Ochoa, Burris, Velez, and Denker are not real prospects) Its time we face reality, these guys have very low cielings and cant really amount to much. Thus leaving us with a projected lineup in 2011 with

C- Posey 1st- Davis 2nd- One of the attempts that we cal a "prospect" SS- Furcal 3rd base- Sandavol (assuming he can handle it, which i think he could) OF Lewis, Schierholtz, Rowand and a staff with Lincecum, Cain, Burgmarger, Alderson, Some guy named Zito.

The roster looks pretty legitmate with maybe a whole in the OF lacking some power and possibly a 2nd baseman but that can be solved in coming years if Frandsen doesnt work out. I know this is a long way away and very hard to accomplish but if done we could maybe just maybe bring SF its first ever World series. (From the Giants)

Got to thinking about the situation in Phiily where Jimmy (MVP) Rollins called out the fans saying that they dont follow the game or some crap like that; anyway the Phillies have always been linked to liking the none other Matthew Cain. I know I know no one wants to trade Matt Cain but we have absolutley ZERO prospects at SS. Those Phils REALLY REALLY need pitching and they have many of offesnse to spare. I know that Jimmy Rollins current line is horrible like in the 250 with very few HR but everyone knows the guy can play. Lets put together a package of Winn and Cain for Rollins and maybe just maybe the Phils will consider it.

Is there a way to contact Brian Sabean? Does anyone know an Email which is open to the public? I know that Zito has one and was wondering if he does to? This might be an assanine question, but i'm a 16 year old HS student and i'm interested in exploring the field of baseball management and would like to know some of the requirements. Rays are apparently looking for bullpe a long term closer, and a catcher to make a push THIS year. Why dont we package Bengie Molina and Brian Wilson for one of their top prosepcts. We have Hinshaw to take over for Wilson if he gets traded or injured, also Wilson is finally getting recognized for his great season with an All star selectiion. I dont know much about the Rays farm system but its apparently one of the best in baseball so i think we can find someone that would intrigue us. How about we offer molina and wilson for Brijnaic, apparently he's a really good propspect. Good idea right? Who do you think we could get?
