Let me start this post by apologizing for the possibility that there may be a similar FanPost somewhere...if this be the case, I am sorry and please link me to it so I know where it is.

OK, so every now and then I will see a player, a line, or a grouping of players referred to by a nickname, which is, of course, common in hockey, but I've noticed more creative, derogatory, and hilarious ones here at SCH then one would normally be exposed to. So I would love if some of the more "seasoned" members of SCH could do their best to explain to me (I still have ones I'd like to know about, like the whole Jared Leto/SCUM thing) and any possible future members the origins of these SCH-exclusive nicknames. I just think it will make it easier for new readers to follow along without having to do all the catching up I had to do when I first joined.

So I guess just leave comments with a nickname, the player or players said nickname refers to, and the origin of the nickname...a "nickname glossary" (minus the alphabetical part).
EXAMPLE:
"20 Cent"
Patrick Kane
*from Kane's incident with a cabbie, where Kane was accused of assault over a disagreement on change, as well as a play on the name of rapper "50 Cent"

...and if you think the idea for this post is stupid or that it takes the fun out of the nicknames, you can just say that in your comment, but I think it's a good thing to have...so kiss my ass =P
