Windy City Gridiron Wildcat

The Bears are 31st in the league in rushing. Even though its early and we have played 2 great rush defenses I am still worried. The offensive line has not proved to be able to consistently create a hole for Matt Forte. The Bears have the weapons to run an effective wildcat. Forte, Hester, Olsen, and Knox could be a deadly combination in the Wildcat formation. It might be a gimmick but I think it could jump start are running game and make are offense much better.

Noted sportswriter Roland Lazenby tweets that LeBron James and Chris Bosh are planning to sign with the same team when the two are free-agents a year from now.

"The inside source says LeBron and Bosh have plans to end up playing together," Lazenby tweets. "Will Shaq interrupt those plans? Prolly not."

Windy City Gridiron 2009 Bears predictions

******Yes I know it is too early to predict the season but i did it for a different website so I decided to post it here*******

@Packers: The game we are all waiting for. Jay Cutler comes out firing and has a great Bears debut. Matt Forte has a big 2nd half after the Packers take their SS out of the box because of their respect for our passing game. Bears win 35-13.

Vs. Steelers: After completely blowing the Packers D out of the water the Bears offense hits a wall. The Steelers control the game and win 17-7.

@Seahawks: The Bears Come back strong with shutdown D. The Bears win 24-3.

Vs. Lions: The Bears completely stomp the Lions. 42-10 Bears win

@Falcons: The game will be close but the Bears will pull it out in the 4th, they win 21-17.

@Bengals: Jay Cutler has a field day with the Bengals D. Bears easily win 24-10.

Vs. Browns: The Bears are on a 4 game winning streak and make it 5 with a 14-10 win.

Vs. Cardinals: The Cards WR core gives the bears secondary fits. Cardinals win 35-28

@49ers: The Bears start off slow but hold on to win 10-7.

Vs. Eagles: The game is close throughout but Donavan leads his team to victory. Eagles win 17-14

@Vikings: Adrian Peterson has a big night and The Vikings win 28-17

Vs. Rams: The bears play a great game and snap their 2 game losing streak. They win 28-7.

Vs. Packers: The game is closer than expected but the bears win in the end 17-14.

@Ravens: The Bears lose a defensive battle. Ravens win 10-7.

Vs. Vikings: Bears come out strong in a big game. Bears win 17-13

Bears record- 11-5

This looks bad but might be good for us. With those comments Amare is most likely going to be traded and the knicks have nothing to offer.

Blog a Bull VDN sucks/The Bulls did what they had to do.

VDN has showed exactly why he deserves no credit for us making the playoffs. I have never seen a coach use his time outs so bad. The fact that 2 games in a row we were out of time outs is absolutely ridiculous. Leaving Brad Miller in the game the entire 4th quarter (except the last 20 seconds) was a terrible decision. THIS IS NOT BRAD MILLER"S FAULT AT ALL. He is a good player when used right. When Brad stays in the game to long he gets slow and clumsy (even more than usual). If VDN puts TT in the game when were up by 5 late in the game we win this game.

Even though the Bulls lost a heart breaker tonight we still did what we had to do. If someone told me we split in the opening two in the garden I’d be extremely happy. The Bulls are still in good position to win this series. They just need to take care of business at the UC.

Bleed Cubbie Blue Poll: Heilman trade

I want to see what the Bleed Cubbie Blue community thinks about the Heilman trade. I think it is a good trade because we really didn’t give up much to get him. I hated Ronny Cedeno. He gave no effort and made me think I was watching a little league game with his stupid base running errors. I never even thought that Olson was going to be on the cubs anyway. I thought he would be apart off the Peavy deal. The Peavy deal can still be done. Vitters, Marshall, and some minor league pitchers can still get the deal finished. What do you guys think?

Windy City Gridiron Vote Matt Forte For rookie of the year!!!!!

http://www.nfl.com/partner?partnerType=rookies

He defiantly deserves to be rookie of the year. Could you imagine where the bears would have been without him. All the other names on the list also had good year but they didn’t carry there team like Matt Forte did.

Bleed Cubbie Blue Shouldnt the cubs boost payroll now?

well I keep hearing one of the main reasons we havent got peavy or roberts yet is because of payroll. I  believe that we definatly have enough (pie, cedano, weurtz, and the three pitching prospects from the Indians) to make the deal. but beacause it will put us over 141 million we cant do it, and the only way we could would be to get the right away from the potantial owners. if we bump up the payroll to 150 million are these potential owners going to drop out of the bidding? I highly doubt it and if they are they shouldnt own the cubs anyway. so why not go out there and spend and win a championship now.
