JaMarcus Russell
I'm surprised no one has created a fanpost about this article that was the Headliner on ESPN.com. Front page read "Backpedalling". I know their is a part of the Raider Nation that patiently supports him and then they're others who just have lost faith in his ability to be an NFL QB. I wanted SNBP's voice on Jamarcus. Read the article and watch the video accompanied within the article. Is Jamarcus worthy of "bust" label or is he a work in progress. I'd like to start the debate. One thing I do understand is that winning cures everything and if were winning, Jamarcus would never be in the negative spotlight but I don't want anyone giving excuses. So don't be afraid to speak your mind and give your opinion.
click here to read the article. And tell me what you think.

Raider Conspiracy Theory
Still high off last weekend's win, I was trying to convince a friend of mine to go to the Jets game. I was telling him whatever he wanted to hear that "we turned the corner", "our D will come through", "Chaz is back and Jamarcus will shine", "Kris Jenkins is out", "Sanchez isnt Mcnabb", "we found our winning formula"... Then I brought up the point that "Al Davis knows something we don't".
Al knows a thing or two about football... after watching a documentary on ESPN about the "USFL" I thought about how Al Davis was a part of it and how today, the "UFL" today is doing the same exact thing! So here's some random thoughts:
- Ive read reports that the Burgess trade was apart of the Seymour trade that included the Raiders getting a 2010 3rd and 5th rounder and NE getting 2011 1st rounder. Burgess hasnt done much but have 9 total tackles and 1 sack all year long. And we all know about Seymour.
- Possible player lockout (link) in 2011 due to CBA expires after this season. Unless owners are willing to have an "uncapped season" with teams like Dallas and Redskins outbidding everyone for FA's.
- Now... how does that affect that 2011 pick if there isnt a season? I dont know but I think Al Davis knows something we dont
- 2010 Draft will be flooded with talent due to the possible "draft pay-scale" (link) coming in 2011.
What do you guys think?

update w/ podcast: Tim Ryan on Gary Radnich show: "Gruden open to a return to Oakland"
Tim Ryan, FoxSports Analyst who is doing the Raider vs Eagle game this weekend was just on Gary Radnich Show on KNBR was talking Raider Football and had some interesting points. Being personally close to Jon Gruden he had good points:
- Gruden will coach again and has the "coaching itch" and wants get back to it
- Knowing Gruden personally, as long as Tim Ryan has know Jon he has never heard Gruden say anything negative about Mr. Davis both "on and off the record"
- Gruden open to coming back to Oakland
- Bruce Allen would follow Gruden Back to Oakland
update: Ryan interview podcast (thanks to iBleedSnB). Also a Bleacherreport article on this subject here

Raiders 1 of 6 six teams considering moving to L.A.
Along with San Diego, the raider will be considered one of the teams to move to LA. Knowing Al Davis's history with the city of industry, he will be a factor in any team moving into LA. If they do decide to move I dont think Id be able to re-up as a season ticket holder having to make the trek 10 times a year, especially with family. I know that they haven't moved yet and that nothing is official but if it were to follow through and the Raiders are back in LA, I wouldnt be able to attend as a season ticket holder.
sorry, Im not sure how to add a link but if you dont mind copy and pasting here is the link:

also a good read about the game... link:

I wish there were more positive news to post. It doesnt help when we as Raider fans are fed up and willing to add to the hysteria of being apart of "RaiderNation"... For the guy who fell asleep in the endzone, the guys around him got off easy!!! I could care less who the hell is around me, It's disrespectful to mess with someone when their team is losing!!!

Is there room for another Bay Area Team?
heres the link:
"SacBee" http://www.sacbee.com/kings/story/1612400.html
I know I hate the Kings but If they were to move down SJ...I dont know about how the rest of GSOM feels, but I think a team in San Jose would be a good idea. But to cheer against the Dubz would be crazy hard. A few years back if anyone remembers, the Dubz played a season at the Shark Tank while The Oracle was under renovations and I was able to go to more games. Even though we were bad at the time I enjoyed it. Anyway, If San Jose can get an the Kings, how many of GSOM'ers would convert to San Jo Royalty? If you think about it, GSOM blew up once the Dubz went mainstream a few years back, so Im sure a few would defect.

(I dont know how to make the link... but cut and paste it)
I love the energy Ronny translates onto the court, it makes me feel like I'm on the court but if we can get a proven PF, why not? I understand we'd have to package him with either Crawford/Maggette/Ellis or any of the other scoring guards we have. I feel we need that star power we lost in Baron and Jax is not the piece. So if we could either Bosh or Amare, would you package Ronny in a deal?

ESPN's john hollinger's Prediction
I know a few may think that hollinger's system is b.s. but if you read about this he does have a few valid points.
its been another frustrating year just like last season, we waited till the last game!
its a love/hate relationship. if we make the playoffs we forget the roller coaster that took us there, we dont make the playoffs and the whole team needs a make over! (sounds like my girlfriend urgh)
anyway heres the link:
