Apparently some alabama fan put a bunch of herbicide under Toomer's Corner and the tree is going to die now.  I am all about messing with some rivals, but this is WAYYY over the line.  Not only will this probably lead to some sort of retaliation, this is just terrible behavior.  I really hope they catch the **** who did this because I know how mad I would be if someone did this to us.  Nearest comparison I can think of would be blowing up the rock.

given katz's bashing of Pearl and calling for a full year suspension I think there could be a slant on what Pearl is saying.  I don't see any quotes really and most of the descriptions of his comments appear to be summarizations that may be skewed.  I find it hard to believe that Pearl would just dismiss the sanctions as nothing and say nothing else is likely to come.  Does anyone know what comments Katz is reporting on and seemingly spinning?

At first when I read all these rumors I thought, what the hell??? But after thinking about it being Halloween and combined with the other rumors of having SC be in all black and us be in all orange it sounds pretty cool.   Can anyone confirm or deny this?

No matter what it should be cool to watch and will increase attention on this game that may not receive a ton of attention otherwise.   The glowstick thing could turn out to be really neat to see (if true).
