Cassel offically placed on IR with broken hand
C'mon we should be able to beat out a KC team without their three best players.
Dwayne Collins?
I remember this guy from the 2010 draft as the athletic big who looked like Ed Reed (seriously, he does). I was on the Warriors Wikipedia page today and he was on our current roster. Is there any evidence suggesting this is true?
Curry 9th best point guard in the league
Ahead of J-Kidd, behind out-of-prime vets Billups and T. Parker. Agree or disagree?
No, not Warrior related. But I'll play the "lockout boredom" card because I lol'd hard.
Collins: Sixers Aren't Shopping Iguodala
Well, Riley said millions of times that "we aren't shopping Monta" so it could be a similar story. But still...you never know.

T. Prince and Kuester get into heated argument
The heading from RealGM says: "The relationship between Tayshaun Prince and John Kuester was already on shaky ground."
If the Pistons don't want to risk team chemistry for an aging forward, maybe they'll be willing to shop him? Our expirings (and maybe + BW)?
Opening night shirts
Do they give out those "opening night" shirts every year on opening night? And how much do they usually cost? Thanks.
Anyone have any idea why preseason tickets appear outlandishly expensive?
I got two free tickets from the Facebook offer for Sunday's game. However, my third friend (who missed it) wants to come along and just buy an extra ticket via Ticketmaster. However, on Ticketmaster, for Sunday's preseason game, upper level tickets appear as 50$+?? Obviously something must be wrong, so is there a way to buy preseason tickets without these skewed prices?
Hornets sign Pargo
Dodged a bullet there...
Golden State/Indiana/Memphis proposal
I decided to jump on the recent trade proposal bandwagon (yes, I know everyone is tired of them), but hear me out.
Warriors receive: Gasol, Henry, George
Pacers receive: Udoh, Conley, Z.Randolph
Grizzlies receive: Ellis, Turiaf, Murphy, Dunleavy, R. Williams
Why Indiana does it:
-Their biggest need is the PG position. Ford has been ousted by Coach O'Brien, and Earl Watson may not resign. Conley has been a disappointment in Memphis thus far, but Indiana may still be intrigued.
-Z.Randolph made his first all-star team last season, and is capable of putting up double-doubles on a nightly basis.
-Udoh is a defensive minded player (something they've been lacking, since Murphy's been their 4), who could take over the PF position if Randolph chooses not to resign in '11.
-Although George could play the 2, he is more suited as a 3, a slot already occupied by Danny Granger. Brandon Rush, their 1st round pick in '08 would finally get his chance to start at the 2.
-projected lineup:
PG-Conley
SG-Rush
SF-Granger
PF-Z.Randolph
C-Hibbert
Why Memphis does it:
-We all know that they're enamored by Monta, so there's nothing to explain here.
-OJ Mayo has stated his interest in playing PG, and has even been named the starting PG of their summer league squad. An experimentation with a Mayo/Ellis could be a worthwhile risk. Also, they drafted Vazquez, so they really don't need Conley anymore.
-Rudy Gay is a goner, so Dunleavy could take his spot in the starting lineup.
-Randolph's season ended with a drug bust, so they could opt for the consumnate professional (Murphy).
-projected lineup:
PG-Mayo
SG-Ellis
SF-Dunleavy
PF-Murphy
C-Thabeet
Why Golden State does it:
-We're in desperate need of a starting 3.
-Henry was a player high on the Warriors draft board, and would replace Monta in the starting lineup.
-Gasol would bring much needed size, and rebounding to our squad.
-cap space
-projected lineup (of the future)
PG-Curry
SG-Henry
SF-George
PF-Randolph
C-Gasol
Nets also interested in Monroe?
A low post/high post tandem of Lopez and Monroe would be interesting. I wonder what it would take to swap picks with them...

Pritchard for GM?
I'd take him over Jerry West any day.

Nice to see Reggie getting some recognition
Yao might opt out this summer
The Warriors have no cap space, Yao may never return to old form after his latest injury, and Darryl Morey probably won't let him walk away, but I'm sure he would love to play in front of our lively Asian-American community.
Brady Quinn traded to Denver
for Peyton Hillis, a 7th round draft pick last year.
Some more insight on Derrick Favors, courtesy of NetsDaily
Wall and Turner are given if we land 1 or 2 in the draft. But, what if we land the 3rd or 4th pick? Many have been asking for DeMarcus Cousins, despite his character flaws, because it would give us the hollowed big man we've been looking for for years. Derrick Favors hasn't been mentioned much due to his potential as "another B-Wright type project". However, after reading this fanpost made on NetsDaily, some interesting points are made, and I wouldn't write him off just yet for our Dubs.
