I heard or read on this site that the Celtics and Pistons were talking about signing and trading Big Baby, Giddens and Pruitt to Detroit for Jason Maxiell and a 1st round pick.

Is this true? If so, any chance it can get done. It would be a complete steal for the Celtics as Maxiell would be a much better power forward coming off the bench than Big Baby. Not to mention we'd get a 1st pick out of the deal and Sheed & Maxiell use to play together in Detroit.

R. Allen/Rondo for Shaq and A'mare

I know how beloved Rondo is here in Boston. But will he ever become the point guard that everyone thinks he is? He is very, very good some nights and very erratic other nights. But his stock has never been higher.

Ray Allen is a class act and a great player. However, minus the 55 point game vs. Chicago and the buzz beater of 1st round-game 2, he didn't play that well in the playoffs. Also Sugar Ray's stock is high.

Phoenix is looking to trade Shaq and Stoudamire, according to the Globe. Why not consider Ray Allen, Rondo and Perk for Stoudamire and Shaq. Stoudamire is a legit center (sorry I like Perk but he's not a real center.) Resign Marbury as your point guard, Pierce as SG, move A'mare to small forward, KG as PF and Shaq as center.

Use the mid-level exception and sign McDyess, Wallace or Gordon. Could be another championship team!

Just a thought.

Continue to Start Marbury

I am so psyched we signed Stephon. He (along with Mikki Moore) are the final two pieces to a championship team. Now that Rondo is out (which I think is a blessing in disguise) I would continue to start Marbury. He needs to adjust to the Celtics style of play and the only way for that to happen is play him more and more.

Trust me, I believe it will pay off in the long haul.
