I personally think he would be great (and have guessed for a while that he might be the guy) though I know there is no coaching choice that would be received with 100% agreement. We'll just have to wait and see if it's true and if so who he brings/keeps on his staff.

Everyone quotes JoePa's win total as being 401. But with the forfeit of last year's game by tOSU would it not now be 402, despite the fact that Joe would never himself acknowledge a forfeit as a win based on his response to another forfeiture that PSU had lost years ago?
The reason this becomes important is that he stands to break Eddie Robinson's all time D1 record of 408 wins this year. And I am sure there will be plenty of ceremony and publicity surrounding the event. So for matter of record I think someone has to clarify this sooner rather than later.

Many people on here have fairly anonymous screen names. But having seen a post from baconway, who may or may not be Brett Conway, I was wondering just how many former PSU football players are fairly frequent posters on this site. I am totally expecting a lot of posers to have some fun with this, but any serious response with true knowledge to appease my curiosity would be appreciated.
It's probably going to be difficult to get a straight answer as I am sure the owners of this site have to protect privacy and there will be a lot of people claiming to be the football legends they always wanted to be. But, nonetheless, here we go.....

I would like to get up to see the spring game with my 5 year old son. I'd love even more to get a photo of he and I with a living legend. Does anyone have any insight as to how to go about this and what the odds of success would be? Thanks.

Our friend Todd McShay on ESPN.com has another article disputing our claim to being called "Linebacker U". It's the same old garbage we heard last year from Ohio State fans. Does anyone know if PSU has a trademark on the term? I'd love to stick that in their faces to end the discussion. I know when I order from Lions Pride they have a "TM" next to the phrase so someone must own it. Google wasn't at all helpful.
