Interesting stuff. He sounds like he has his head screwed on right.

Top 10 unluckiest sports stars
The Bills have made a lasting impact this side of the pond, they and Scott Norwood come in at number 9.
(I would love your opinions on comment #23)
Who do the fans think is to blame the current situation in the NFL?
I have read alot of articles over the last six months by various journalists, players, owners, league officials etc. and they all seem to claim that one side or the other does not want a settlement?
I wonder what the fans on this website actually think? Hence the attached poll.
Did boths sides ever enter the negotiations actually wanting to make a new deal?
A question regarding the CBA negotiations.
One of the major sticking points in the CBA negotiations, according to Jason Cole, seems to be the unions desire to see two years worth of fully audited accounts from each of the NFL teams. The league does not want want to give them any of this.
Bengals Fan selling my allegiance - What city wants me?
No need to apply: Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions, Cincinnati Bengals - because you have also proven you could care less about winning.
The Shutdown Corner Interview: Steve Johnson, Pt. 1
A nice interveiw with Stevie J.
DE Johnson a rare bright spot for Panthers
Not Bills related, but it may point towards keeping Maybin around for another couple of years
If the Panthers or the Bengals take Luck before us?
Unlikely contributors making significant impacts
QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, Buffalo Bills – The Harvard alum and former seventh-round pick edges Vince Young (second in QB rating) and David Garrard (No. 4 in rating) despite being on a 0-8 team. Why? Fitzpatrick wasn’t even the starter until the third game of the season, but was good enough to run Trent Edwards out of town. While some of what Young and Garrard have accomplished this season is unlikely, nothing was expected of Fitzpatrick.
LT Demetrius Bell, Bills – Bell was a seventh-round pick in 2008 who has become a solid starter for Buffalo, a team that has made a specialty lately of finding left tackles from odd places (Jason Peters was an undrafted free agent before Bell at that spot). Bell edges Oakland’s Jared Veldheer, a third-round pick out of Hillsdale College who hasn’t played enough as a rookie but had some expectations placed on him this season.
Some Positive Spin :-) In a negative way :-(
The Good
If I had said before the season started that we would have been just one game behind Dallas at the half way mark would everyone have been calling me crazy?

Mr Rich to plough cash into Bedlington Terriers.
The man who used to sponsor the Ralph is now sponsoring the Beddlington Terriers, a British football team in the ninth teir of English football.
Weird or what?
Free Game Pass
For those of you outside the USA
Why have two kicking specialists?
I have never understood why teams needs a kicker and a punter.
Plenty of rugby players can punt as far and as high as Brian Moorman and kick as accurately as Ryan Lindell, or any other kicker or punter.
Why not NFLers?
Discuss.
This could be end of training camps as we know it
"I take a couple of weeks off after the season and do absolutely nothing, but I’m right back into it doing some sort of a workout," said Buffalo linebacker Chris Kelsay, the Bills’ alternate union rep. "It is a league where you’ve got to be in shape and you’ve got to be working out."
Ironic as most of the article is about whether extra games will mean more injuries and Kelsay injured himself on the first day
England Vs USA
Just wondering if any Rumblers will be watching the World Cup game between England and USA tonight?I am sure there must be some followers of Football out there.
I am predicting a 3-1 win for England. The USA have a good team, but i just think England are stronger overall and the USA are not good enough in attack.
I think that both teams will do quite well and qualify for the second round though.

Fine signs for St Louis
So much for not being fit enough!
Tight end Derek Fine, who started 11 games over the past two seasons for the Buffalo Bills, was awarded to the Rams on waivers Wednesday. Cleveland and Jacksonville also put in claims for Fine, but th Rams got him because they had the worst record last year among those three clubs
What qualifies as success?

Thoughts on the NFL playing in England
The Patriots and the Bucs are playing in London on Sunday. This is a fantastic thing American Football fans, not just in the UK, but Holland and Germany as well. The game sold out in a few hours, but what about a NFL team based in London.
NFL in London
Your thoughts on NFL games in London please?
I would have been at the game, but work commitments prevented me. I had to sell my ticket. so i am gutted to be missing it.
Thank you to the NFL for bringing the games over here.
Rod Watson: Non-Jauron may already be right here
I have never heard of any of the names suggested, but at least one of them sounds like they might do a good job.
The Bills are not the only team having trouble replacing a Hall of Fame QB
Props to ESPN for looking up the stats on how many quarterbacks have tried to follow up Dan Marino, John Elway, Steve Young, Troy Aikman and Jim Kelly on their respective teams and how many playoff games those teams have won since they retired. The minimum number of quarterbacks is eight and none of those teams have won more than one playoff game.
I am trying to find the ESPN article
Bills on the BBC
