NBA Fan Voice: The Unique Situation of Being a SACRAMENTO Kings Fan
I am a troll. I read nearly every article and comment on sactownroyalty.com without contributing much in terms of readable content. But today is a special day, I have a slightly different opinion of the lockout than most of you, and I am desperately searching for anything to distract myself from the boatload of studying I have in preparation for my midterms. It is because of these aforementioned reasons that I have decided to come out of hermitude and share my reflections.

New NBA2k12 Trailer
Kings appear three times from 1:40 - 1:55. Unfortunately, two appearances are on defense, (one disgusting clip of the team getting dunked on by Kobe). The third features Tyreke dribbling his way into a contested three pointer. At least it's realistic. No video yet of the 2002 Kings.
Potential trade thread: Carmelo Anthony
Its dangerous for me to write a post about this whole situation, as posts like this could quickly become redundant. To avoid redundancy, a few rules:
1. this is not a place to argue whether or not you want Carmelo in a kings uniform
2. Dont make the argument that Carmelo does not want to be here or that you would take Carmelo only if he signs an extension. Been there, done that.
The question is simple: Assuming he wants to sign a contract extention with the Kings, who would you be willing to trade for Carmelo Anthony?

7 footers, Posting, and Threes, Oh my!
It was pointed out in a recent Summer League practice that Donte Greene, who has always been tall for his position, is looking even taller, and may have reached the 7 foot mark over the offseason. Most seven footers are expected to have some sort of a post game, but then again Donte Greene isn't your average seven footer. After the Jump we will explore the topic: Does Donte Greene need to develop a post game?

Finding Minutes for Our Bigs (and Why JT Shuld Start)
Yesterday could not have gone any better for the Kings. Seriously. At the start of the month, our front line was more shallow than Kim Kardashian, but now our front line is young and STACKED, like Kim Kardashian. Now, like Kim Kardashian, we are desperately trying to find time to fit all these big guys in (Thanks RoadDogg) Now that we are blessed with the problem of finding enough minutes to go around, its time for some speculation.

Tall Ball?
Small ball, as you know, is a strategy that has been employed to varying degrees of success over the last few years. With the current Kings roster, I believe the Kings could do just the opposite. Tall ball.
