It appears that the Big Ten Network and streaming video website Hulu have come to an agreement to broadcast some of the Big Ten's historical football content (and even some nonconference games), which is fantastic.  Embedded below is the 1994 PSU @ Illinois game which I hadn't ever seen before; also available are the 2001 OSU @ PSU game, the 2002 PSU @ Wisc game, and (if you're into S&M) the 1999 Minny @ PSU game.  There are also a variety of other great games, 28 total.

For those of you that need extra incentive to reach personal goals you've set for this year such as losing weight, eating better or exercising more, stickK.com presents the concept of the anti-charity.  You can purchase a commitment contract of any value to incentivize reaching some personal goal.  If you succeed, you don't pay anything.  If you fail to meet stated goals as determined by stickK's referees, all of your contract money is donated to an organization you select, which may possibly be one you loathe.

For those of us who bleed blue and white, what better incentive exists than to put your own money on the line which, in the event of failure, is donated to the athletic departments of Pittsburgh, Michigan or Notre Dame?  Now you can negatively correlate the success of programs you despise with your own personal achievements.

The creators, faculty at Yale, suggest the anti-charity strategy may be much more effective towards achieving one's goals than simply selecting a charity like the Red Cross, though clearly not as beneficial to society.  Here's the FAQ.

Jeannette High School's basketball team defeated District 10 champion North East 75-66 late last night to earn a trip to the PIAA Championships at Penn State.  The AA game is scheduled for Saturday at 2pm at the Bryce Jordan Center, against Strawberry Mansion of the Philly Public C League.  Pryor will get at least a brief look at campus with his team this weekend.  Those in the area may wish to check out the game.
