Could we get anybody in 2010?
Hello fellow Bobcat fans. Had a thought and wanted some expert advice from you fine fellows. I was wondering if there was anyway any of the big free agents, and some not so big, would come to Charlotte? I know we probally dont have room under the cap and Charlotte wouldnt seem like a primer destination but what if........
With so many big names floating around could it be possible if we traded away some folks and freed up the moolah to sign one of the big names and rebuild the team around him or get some decent players as pieces.
It might be wishful thinking but I know all of you will give me a honest answer at who it could be, how it would work, and if its possible. Heres a list of people who are gonna or could be free agents.
Would it be so bad???
With all this trade talk in the air and the fact the panthers are all tied up in the peppers saga......would it be so bad if peppers were to return next year? I know there are people who would much rather us have cut him and got no value but the panthers say they want the guy to stay and I doubt they will take less value just to get rid of him. I personally would like him to stay too, but if he did return next year dont you think if he plays he will play well. I mean I understand the holding out until regular season if he wants too, but he will have to play sooner or later. I dont think he will sit out the whole year and just collect checks. If he comes back next year and plays, hes got to be as good as this year if he really wants out doesnt he? Either way hes got to prove himself to the other teams that might be interested? If he sits all year, he doesnt do himself any good, and if he plays and plays even more half hearted he doesnt do himself any good, right? So would having him back even for one more year be so bad????
