Call me biased, tell me I'm nitpicking, but did any other Colt's fan notice the way that Gumble and his co-host(Dierdolf??) called the game? it certainly seemed that they were angry when the Big Blue Machine even got a first down. However when Derek Mason, or Ray Rice even got 4 yards they were trying to pull a Gus Johnson/Steve Tasker......"and RICE BREAKS THROUGH THE SECONDARY".....however when Gary Brackett intercepted that pass, all Diedolf could talk about was how they DIDN'T call a "false start" on Baltimore, essentially giving them another chance....just kind of angered me, so I thought I'd ask.....

please, please, please tell me that someone else saw the pregame show. When asked "what is the difference between Peyton Manning and Tom Brady?"

Tony Dungy said, "Peyton is all around better"

Rodney Harrison said, and I quote- "Tom Brady is a better closer"

CLOSER!!! ha ha ha ha ha......well in his face, in Belicheat's face, and all their poor sportsmanship, the GOOD GUYS WON

I love the fact that they (New England) knows they don't have any kind of mental advantage over us now,we can come back from anything they put on us....and we proved it....yet again.... great job of "closing" Tom, why don't ya go pose for GQ.....again.... hahaha

I'm sick of Baltimore.....the city.

Just sitting in the living room watching TV and see that ESPN is promoting a movie called "The Band that wouldn't die". What is this movie about you ask? The Baltimore Colts marching band, and how we "snuck" out of town and broke all their hearts. It's ridiculous, and irks me to no end.

People don't realize just how many teams have moved... *ahem* Boston Patriots, L.A. Rams/Raiders, -pause- how about the fact that Baltimore STOLE the Browns from Cleveland...and convieninetly re-named them the Ravens -resume- MY point being.... enough is ENOUGH with this garbage. People of Baltimore, Kindly shut your whiny mouths.

A New Colt Attitude?

Now you can call me crazy if you like, but through these first 4 games.....this team seems to have a new attitude...and I like it. We all remember the disappointing playoff losses where teams just seemed to out muscle us on 3rd and short, or the specific play where Dominic Rhodes was stripped by Tedy Bruschi in the playoffs.

No More.

These young guys on the team now, (Pierre Garcon, Jacob Lacey, Jerraud Powers) they seem to bring an angry sort of swagger to this team. Powers is an excellent physical corner who isn't afraid of playing up tight on receivers and can bring the lumber on each hit. The same goes for Lacey. However, there was one play in particular that stood out to me IMO.... The Pierre Garcon stiff arm of Rodgers-Cromartie, which WASN'T a penatly, but that's beside the point, just seemed to have a "you're not stopping me from doing what I have to do to win" kind of attitude. I know, we always want to win, and we aren't a finesse team like some people like to claim we are, but this kind of....dare I say, "swagger" by these younger guys just makes me smile knowing that we have a sort of "F you" attitude to WHOEVER we play. We will not be intimidated by ANYONE at anytime...

What do ya think?

I may be out of line, but it seemed to me in the game tonight that Charlie Johnson *gasp* handled himself very well tonight at LT........

I know that the chop block was a BS call, I watched the replay, my point is that the call happened when Mr. Ugoh was on the right side of the line......I'm not saying one is better than the other, but for the "silliness" to end, maybe Tony Ugoh should step up and prove himself, because the 1st team offense looked just fine without him at LT this evening

OK this is just to help me get my bearings here....

I've noticed that there are a lot of new-comer Colts fans here.....i.e. since we've had Peyton. I'm not trying to insult them, because I fully welcome new Colts fans, but at the same time.....I remember the 3-13 years, the 2-14 years, Lydell Mitchell, Bill Brooks, Linday Infante, and Ted Marchibroda (yes he was our coach before announcer). Now I'm not trying to patronize, but it seems like a lot of posters on this site aren't aware of what we came from, unless they looked it up.....as in they weren't fans when that happened....so I guess my point of this post is to find out who is who....and I don't mean that in a segregative way, just a kind of info on each of the posters...

btw, I'm 23, born and raised in Remington, Indiana, die hard Indy fan since I could walk, fav D player for us ever: Chad Bratzke, and favorite O player ever: Marvin Harrison

I think it is important to be well versed and knowledgable on your history, and not just stats, otherwise you're doomed to repeat it.....I sincerely enjoy this website about 10 times more than www.coltpower.com so any kind of feedback would be good, thank you for the welcome!
