Harry kalas R.I.P.
A sure tragedy for the sports world. Harrys' passing magnifies the earlier loss of Whitey Ashburn. In spite of the triteness of the saying..I grew up listening to these guys. Summer wasn't summer without Harry and Whitey. Through all the horrible, losing seasons Phillies fans suffered through there was always the "Voice" that somehow made all those losses acceptable, and easier to bear. NFL films, Notre Dame sports broadcasts...cannot attempt to replace Harry. A true gentleman, and the best announcer I have ever heard. A tragic week for baseball fans everywhere and an immutable loss for Philadelphia fans. Thanks Harry.
