Jason Kendall Traded

I don't know what to think of this..That was half of what I could make fun of about the A's..I can't imagine the Cubs paying the salary of Kendall because the guy is only hitting above his weight because he is a little girl..Anyways, I think the A's are pretty much giving up on the season so, we'll see if anyone else gets traded.

Have you guys seen this??

It's Adam Kennedy, David Eckstein and Scot Spiezio on some really bad tv show when they were all on the angels. It had to have been directly after the '02 world series. Pretty bad, but funny and kinda weird that i hadn't seen that before.

Pretty lame, if you ask me. Is angel mania, a blog i had never heard of, the only angel blog they could find? Or do they just like talking shit? Either way, while Weaver is 7-0 and has been dominant, i'm guessing we all still feel like the "JEFF the elder" in him will probably come in at some point, which keeps us from fully enjoying Jered's spectacular start. Any other thoughts?

Vlad to the Yankees?

This is absolutely insane, and i think the angels would not trade him for anything the yankees have to offer. Still, the Yankees are legitimately trying to trade for him. http://realitycheck.mlblogs.com/ has an article about this. Now the question, Would you trade Vlad for anything, especially for anything the Yankees have? I truly believe I would not trade Vlad for anything, even a package of superstars. Vlad IS the Angels and he is easily on his way to being the Greatest Angel of All Time. Simple as that. Or is this article just an example of the creation of a rumor?

Jered Weaver called up!

Jered Weaver has been called up to the Angels according to L I N K, It doesn't look like the article says who was called down from the 25 man, and obviously he had to be added to the 40 man roster. We'll see whether he is coming up as a starter or reliever. Is there any chance he starts tonight over kevin gregg?

[Update]RevHF here, I moved this over from the diaries (congrats hathaway93)... 90 minutes later and still no roster announcements - 26 names on the team's 25 man roster listed on their site... Updates as events unfold...
