So far this season we have seen very little of Gabe on the court. This surprises me because although Eddie does a great job at poitns, I believe Pruitt brings a whole nother aspect to the game that Eddie cannot provide, a true backup pg. Pruitt paid his dues last year in the D-League and played great basketball for the Flash all year. Now he is sitting at the end of our bench not playing. In games against teams like the Pacers, where Rondo is struggling and Eddie is getting torn apart on defense, I think it would be a good time to get Pruitt involved and see what he has. He is fast, a good defender, and can penetrate on offense to help get people open looks. These are all areas in which Eddie lacks a little. So Pruitt would be a great edition to Eddie on the court.

Also, I believe Pruitt could help give Pierce and Allen more rest, which could never hurt. If Pruitt pans out and is able to play the 1, with Eddie at the 2, and Tony at the 3, we could get Pierce and Allen 3 or 4 more minutes of rest each. This could be huge later in the season.

I believe Pruitt needs a chance to run in something that isn't garbage time because we might be pleasently surprised. What are your opinions?
