In jerry crasnick's latest post, he said he talked to a few execs who believe dunn might have to settle for 3yrs/36million. surely we could afford that even after we sign burnett (maybe).i think it would be a great idea if we could get him for 12mil a season. any thoughts?

According to Rosenthal, the braves are in serious discussions with the ChiSox about vazquez. Jo-Jo and Lillibridge are among the names being discussed. personally i think this would be a nice move for the braves. 9 staright seasons of at least 30 starts doesnt sound too bad. It also says the braves might be giving as many as three players to get him. Maybe we get him, sign Burnett, then go after Adam Dunn. Any thoughts?

i know a lot of us have been talking about the possibility of getting ryan ludwick from the cards, but what about getting ankiel instead? i'm pretty sure he is a FA after next year, but i just like the idea of having him in the OF much better than that of Ludwick. Anyone think this is a good idea? or am I the only one? Would we have to give up more in a trade for him or Ludwick?
