http://blogs2.startribune.com/blogs/neal/2009/06/18/twins-pittsburgh-no-mauer-buscher-grabs-a-bat/

Just got word that Aaron Hicks, the Twins’ first round pick from last year’s draft, is headed to Class A Beloit.

About time the Twins promoted Hicks, I wonder what took them so long. I know the Twins are starting to take it slow with some of their prospects but after what he did in the GCL he should have opened the season in Beloit.

Big righty arm outta Iowa that was drafted by the Twin in the 6th round. Broke his collarbone in the fall playing football costing him some zip on his pitches and he fell in the draft.

I've read that the Twins have offered him 600k to sign by he's still up in the air. Just wondering if anyone has any info on if he's signed yet.

Also found this link to a story on him. If you click on the video link, you see quite a few shots of him pitching. Looks like he has a real fluid delivery and I like how his coach talks up his secondary stuff. That's a good sign for someone who supposedly is also a pretty hard thrower (when healthy).
