The picture of Stafford in the daily links for today got me thinking.  As bad as our records sounds and looks looks on paper, I really don't think its time to panic yet. 

Before the season, i looked at the schedual for October.  I immediatly thought that we could easily win 3 or 4 games outta the 12.  With playing the sens, devils, and hawks twice, those are all games that we could easily lose, or pull out an upset.  Throw in the Habs, thrashers twice, Rangers, Phili, and Dallas, you get a couple of winnable games, but nothing is for sure.  Then throwing in 4 possible weekends of playing back-back games....well you know how that turned out.  (I declare sabatage on that issue.) 

Im still thinking that that if we can pull off a 4-6-2 record for october, we should consider our guys lucky.

After Team USA beat Canada last week, i immediately thought to myself, "God I hope we don't play them again."

Well, to my dismay, we all know that we are.  And wanting nothing more than to watch our boys pull it out...i started thinking to myself.... "What would i give up for Gold?"

With thoughts of my truck, daughter, TV, and wife rolling through my head in one of those conversations you have with yourself.....I ended up going with a finger or too. 

And it got me thinking....Am I the only crazed fan that thinks this way?  Prolly not.  So i have to ask....What would you give up for Gold?

 In my case (and to save my marriage), A finger or two to guarantee Gold?   Sign me up.
