La La Spurs Haiku
I didn't make it in time before the actual game tip off, but I'm on the edge of my seat watching this game. Because it brings the best out of both squads and fire works are always on display. Of course, it is missing a few things like the classic Bowen vs Kobe , however it has many other great match-ups across the board. The one thing that makes me smile though is Noche Latina colors, LOS SPURS!
Tonight's Haiku
LA and SA
On paper we can't beat them
But Heart beats Paper

Gasol Favor-esque Spurs Haiku
In honor of the Warriors vs Spurs game tonight, I know we need the Spurs to at least flex some muscle for us and the rest of the NBA. Granted it follows the old cliche mantra of great teams vs fill-in-the blank-lets-collect-a-pay check-team. So, of course, it doesn't matter if we win by 100 or by 50, the Sportscenter Highlight will be shorter than Pop's leash on Rooks. On the flips side, if we lose tonight's game, Manu forbid, then non-hardcore Spurs fans will start looking for open seats on bandwagons.
Tonight's Haiku for the game...
Dear Coach Don Nelson
Please do us a huge flavor
Bonner for Monta?
St. Patty's Spurs Haiku
So far I'm excited by the warm buzz by my endeavor in Spurs Haiku. Rough loss amigos.
Pop waves the white flag
Decides to groom his green squad

Now, a huge part of the loss was Timmy's lack of production but, he is a future NBA legend. So, allow me to present a haiku that reminds us of how much we love our PF/C/Tower...
Tim don't use the foam
Use Gillette gel shaving cream
For a closer shave
and finally a Spurs Haiku session will not be complete without a "classic" Bonner Haiku...
Sigh Matt Bonner sigh
Don't drive, pass, shoot or dribble
Just eat your sandwich.
Spurs Haiku
Hi PtRers, I am a long time reader and first time poster. After reading for a year or so, I've been searching how to contribute my voice to this great fan blog. So, I decided on the classic 5-7-5 haikus. Every now and then I plan to post Haikus' based on the Spurs' status quo. Why? Because I love Haikus and I'm pretty decent at it, also I love the Spurs.
Noche Latina
Manu put out El Heat's hope
Lights hope in us all.

Now, a personal opinion....
Bonner MVP
Leads Spurs to a Championship
A cold day in hell.
