Sorting out Duke Hate

As we've gone through the NCAA Tourney (and what a great ride so far!) the name "Duke" occasionally rears it's ugly head. In fact, getting to the Elite 8 and looking ahead we see in another bracket...

Music City Bowl - Show your ASOB face

Posters and the like are not allowed into the stadium but I'm planing on being around the 309-310 concourse at halftime. Trying to find some way to make a sign so anyone from ASOB can meet to get...

A new home for L'ville?

Its about time the Big Televen go to twelve teams. Should Notre Dame not answer the phone (again) Louisville would be a good candidate from a geographical standpoint but bad for the Big East and Kentucky football recruiting. Hopefully, if they go forward it would just look at candidates north of the Mason-Dixon line.

What's Your Final Season Prediction?

This is it. The hated Vols trespass on Commonwealth turf in an effort to extend our frustration against them. Enough is enough. Past games count nothing toward tonite's game and the battle whould...

Dawgs vs Cats Prognostications

via i48.photobucket.com We're most likely bowl bound and now playing for prestige with two games to go in the season. Today we line up between the hedges against a Uga-less Georgia team...

FWIW - Uga VII died this week.

1

Hopefully the only bearing this will have on the game is that Georgia's season also dies with a loss to the Cats. Seriously though, the whole side of my mother's family were/are BIG Georgia fans and Uga was/is a big deal to them. I had the pleasure of playing with one of the Ugas growing up when visiting - what a slobber factory. Cats 1, Dogs - 0. (I prefer dogs to cats, but not as mascots.)

We look into our crystal balls

Round 2: Make your prediction

Last week the bragging rights went to ALLBLUCAT although others were right there with him. Figuring an exact winner is tough when no one gets the score perfect so he won the multiheaded coin toss....

If you want to wallow in the win....

The win against Auburn seemed like more than just a win for the Cats. This win could be looked back as an epiphany for Kentucky football, referenced as the point the Kentucky football program took...

Miami's take on the game

It's always interesting to see our the game was viewed from the other sideline. Their "report card" didn't fair too well either. Just realized main link is duplicate of front page link. Sorry. "Report card" is new.

Sporting News Preseason Rankings

4

Sporting News' Mike DeCourcy has put out his 2009-10 preseason rankings for the top 25. Kentucky takes a nice high number (#4), Tennessee squeaks in at #24 and.....Louisville totally misses the cut. Looks like another down year for the SEC - at least by this ranking.
